I was a little girl
Alone in my little world
Who dreamed of a little home for me
I played pretend between the trees
And fed my house guests bark and leaves
And laughed in my pretty bed of green
I had a dream
That I could fly from the highest swing
I had a dream
Long walks in the dark through woods grown behind the park
I asked God who I'm supposed to be
The stars smiled down on me
God answered in silent reverie
I said a prayer and fell asleep
I had a dream
That I could fly from the highest tree
I had a dream
Now I'm old and feeling gray
I don't know what's left to say about this life I'm willing to leave
I lived it full and I lived it well
There's many tales I lived to tell
I'm ready now, I'm ready now
I'm ready now to fly from the highest wing
I had a dream
I was a little girl
Alone in my little world
Who dreamed of a little home for me

Ringlets are butterflies of high summer, named after the rows of rings on their outer wings.
Meet our neighbour, Bob the Bull, seen resting in his winter quarters immediately behind our farm cottage. Bob was born nine years ago, but was conceived at the wrong time and wasn't ready to go to market with the rest of them. David, the farmer, became fond of him and ended up keeping him. Bob loves nothing more than a fresh cabbage, and so we occasionally buy him one as a treat. He'll turn his head on one side so he can get it partly through the steel bars and put his tongue out so he can be fed. In a couple of weeks it'll be time for him to return to his pasture, and we won't then see him again until next winter.
----------------------------- JESUS ✝️ SAVES-------------------------------
SALVATION THROUGH FAITH IN JESUS CHRIST - ALONE!
12 Salvation is found in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to men by which we must be saved."
❤️❤️ IT'S ALL JESUS AND NONE OF OURSELVES! ❤️❤️
16 I am not ashamed of the gospel, because it is the power of God for the SALVATION of everyone WHO BELIEVES: first for the Jew, then for the Gentile. 17 For in the gospel a RIGHTEOUSNESS FROM GOD IS REVEALED, a righteousness that is by FAITH FROM FIRST TO LAST, just as it is written: "THE RIGHTEOUS WILL LIVE BY FAITH." (Romans 1:16-17)
16 KNOW that a man is NOT justified by observing the law, but by FAITH IN JESUS CHRIST. So we, too, have put our faith in Christ Jesus that we may be JUSTIFIED BY FAITH in CHRIST and NOT by observing the law, BECAUSE BY OBSERVING THE LAW NO ONE WILL BE JUSTIFIED. (Galatians 2:16)
1. Now, brothers, I want to remind you of the gospel I preached to you, which you received and on which you have taken your stand. 2. BY THIS GOSPEL YOU ARE SAVED, if you hold firmly to the word I preached to you. Otherwise, you have believed in vain.
3. For what I received I passed on to you as of first importance: that Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures, 4. that he was buried, that he was raised on the third day according to the Scriptures, 5. and that he appeared to Peter, and then to the Twelve. 6. After that, he appeared to more than five hundred of the brothers at the same time, most of whom are still living, though some have fallen asleep. 7. Then he appeared to James, then to all the apostles, 8. and last of all he appeared to me also, as to one abnormally born.
9. For I am the least of the apostles and do not even deserve to be called an apostle, because I persecuted the church of God. 10. But by the grace of God I am what I am, and his grace to me was not without effect. No, I worked harder than all of them--yet not I, but the grace of God that was with me. 11. Whether, then, it was I or they, this is what we preach, and this is what you believed. (1 Corinthians 15:1-11)
7. Therefore Jesus said again, "I tell you the truth, I am the gate for the sheep. 8. All who ever came before me were thieves and robbers, but the sheep did not listen to them. 9. I am the gate; whoever enters through me WILL BE SAVED. He will come in and go out, and find pasture. 10. The thief comes only to STEAL and KILL and DESTROY; I have come that they may have LIFE, and have it to the FULL. (John 10:7-10)
1 Brothers, my heart's desire and prayer to God for the Israelites is that they may be saved. 2 For I can testify about them that they are zealous for God, but their zeal is not based on knowledge. 3 Since they did not know the righteousness that comes from God and sought to establish their own, they did not submit to God's righteousness. 4 Christ is the end of the law so that there may be righteousness for everyone who believes.
5 Moses describes in this way the righteousness that is by the law: "The man who does these things will live by them." 6 But the righteousness that is by faith says: "Do not say in your heart, 'Who will ascend into heaven?'" (that is, to bring Christ down) 7 "or 'Who will descend into the deep?'" (that is, to bring Christ up from the dead). 8 But what does it say? "The word is near you; it is in your mouth and in your heart," that is, the word of faith we are proclaiming: 9 That if you confess with your mouth, "Jesus is Lord," and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. 10 For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you confess and are saved. 11 As the Scripture says, "Anyone who trusts in him will never be put to shame." 12 For there is no difference between Jew and Gentile--the same Lord is Lord of all and richly blesses all who call on him, 13 for, "Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved." (Romans 10:1-13)
Jesus came to bring spiritual LIFE to the spiritually dead and set the captives FREE! FREE from RELIGION, ERROR and outright LIES, so WE might serve THE LIVING GOD! In SPIRIT and in TRUTH!
So you'll KNOW, and not think you're to bad for God to love. The Christian LIFE isn't about how good WE are, because NONE of us are! It's about how GOOD JESUS IS! Because JESUS LOVES US, so much he died in our place and took the punishment for all of our sins on himself. The wages of sin is DEATH, and Jesus took the death WE so richly deserved for us and died in our place. The good news is, there's no more punishment for sin left. WE, you and I were all born forgive as a result of the crucifixion of God himself on the cross that took away the sins of the whole world. All we have to do is believe it, and put your Faith in the finished work of Jesus Christ. That my friends is REAL UNCONDITIONAL LOVE! YOU ARE LOVED. ❤️ ✝️ ❤️

Dear Bill Major,
As I wrote earlier today: I re-listened, this time to some of the FIM (Frankfurt’s Indeterminables Musiqwesen) CDRs. This out-put of CDRs on the print-on-demand-label recout (here a remained selection) were launched in 1995 through my production of the CD "Endlos / Endless" – a memento "50 years after WWII" for an exhibition in Poland, for which I invited the FIM trio Parallelaktion, plus singer Corinna Mayer.
What I auditioned today was "Hot Deals" by "Imperial Hot" (Christoph Korn – gt, Bertram Ritter – dr, A23H – reeds, tp, and Casio). I do not want to describe the music. I just love the feel of these 15 year old recordings. There is also "Rent Art Quest" by the "Stern4et" (Daniel Franke – as, cl, comp, Micha Daniels – kb, Bertram Ritter – dr, A23H on bari sax, bcl and ts, comp) from some years later – a lovely birthday present those talented younger musicians gave me. It was recorded during a "Jazzferien" session I had set up at a castle in the Spessart mountains in 1999. With Micha Daniels – kb, Bertram Ritter – dr, and A23H – ts there is another beautiful session made in a Frankfurt bunker in 2000, "House of Thee". Together with Christoph Korn I had a duo "Canada dry & 20" recorded in 1992-1994 with drummer Vladimir Tarasov as a guest. Of course there is more from that period I could tell you about. For today I'll finish by mentioning "Cassini", a nine-piece band which I assembled in 1998 with members from my bands "Hale Peat", "Imperial Hoot" and the theater ensemble I put together for my Frankfurt-am-Main production of West Side Story (Harry Petersen- as, cl, Stefan Lottermann – tb, Martin Lejeune – gt, Christoph Korn – gt, Marcel Daemgen – sound system, Peter Antony – kb, Bülent Ates – dr, Günter Bozem – dr, and A23H – ts, bcl, arr). This recording sounds to me like an early version of Otomo Yoshihide’s orchestra ONJO, in which I was a member, as you know, during 2005-2007.
Alfred 23 Harth / Lindsay Cooper / Phil Minton – the three musicians on "Trio Trabant a Roma" – appeared at festivals in Moscow & Volgograd prior to this recording as members of Lindsay’s "Oh Moscow" (we hope to do a new recording in 2010). Especially for Lindsay and me, the impressions from this journey were so deeply strange that even after returning to "the West", we felt like we were still in another mental state – the "State of Volgograd." I formed this trio at the invitation of the Budapest Festival in 1990, so there is that title "et all ways Budapest." It's been twenty years now since The Wall came down. In those days, we were just beginning to see the odd spectacle of cars coming from the East mixing into traffic in Western cities. One East German car was called the "Trabant". I liked that name, since trabant also means a planet orbiting a star, so I called the new trio "Trabant A Roma". Earth was under a new "orbital tent" after the Iron Curtain had come down. It was funny to see those strange cars from the East making long distance journeys through Western Europe – finally "all ways lead to Rome!" The fourth title refers to a festival in Strasbourg where we performed (see CDR Le Cadran Bleu). At that time I also played the Farfisa organ, Casio keyboard, and other miscellaneous stuff, all part of the search to express with the strange by-products of technology emerging at that time. The trio didn't last long (until 1993), same with "Oh Moscow" which played its final concert at the London Jazz festival in 1993 due to Lindsay’s worsening illness (which I didn't know of until 1998, when Sally Potter confirmed the facts concerning Lindsay’s declining health).
It was the brief period of time after the Sovjet Union collapsed in 1991, when all of us were curious about Eastern cultures – the curiosity was mutual among those in the former Soviet bloc. Moscow TV offered to produce a filmed portrait about me in February 1992; this led to my appearance at the "Open Music" festival in St. Petersburg alongside members of the Russian musical avant-garde. The film's title "Balance Action" is taken from the name of a famous saxophone from the early Cold War years. It also refers to the "balance action" that finally led to the breakdown of the Communist regimes. In old Leningrad (freshly rechristened St. Petersburg again) I met Vladimir Tarasov. He told me that before the Wall fell, he and his compatriots were forced to smuggle my records through a narrow, secret tunnel. He also claimed that, in the old CCCP avant-garde circles, I was a celebrity on the order of Michael Jackson (probably a Russian exaggeration). In fact, I did receive one of my very first fan letters from Moscow, in 1970 – somebody who loved the "Just Music" LP (ECM 1002). With Tarasov I formed the Quasar Quartet in 1992 with Simon Nabatov (Russia) and Vitold Rek (Poland); we performed together with Dmitri Prigov. But, just as fast as it arose, this cultural exchange period ended – astonishingly quickly, compared to the decades-long span of the Cold War, which had threatened the entire globe with doom.
Because my group "Just Music" played in Prague in 1970 I knew how serious audiences loved what we brought to our music from the West – they had witnessed the disappointing Prague Spring revolution two years before and heard reflections of those heady times in our music. Since 1971 I had numerous opportunities to reach audiences throughout Eastern Europe – Dresden, Leipzig, East Berlin, Krakow, etc. Last year another listener from Prague told me how important it was for them to hear "Cassiber" in 1984. With that in mind, it is a bit sad that 7K Oaks cancelled its October tour which would have brought us to the Wroclaw festival (where I had played with "Just Music" in 1972 and with "Gestalt et Jive" in 1987).
Now I am patiently waiting at the border of Stalinist North Korea to play my music beyond the split – my heart is already there. Who knows what the ongoing imperialist wars within the holy Sufi countries will bring in context of the metastasis of capitalistic asymmetries and Western weapons mass-production…

I was a little surprised to see the leather boot mounted on top of a fence post in the car park for Castle Tioram. It cast an unusual sight, caught in the strong evening light. Who found it and left it there? Who lost it? Did they realise they had lost it?
Lots of things comrade Putin is losing at the moment. And he deserves to. The West has really put the boot in to Putin. Did you know that “In the Middle East it is traditionally considered highly insulting to hit someone with the bottom of a shoe, which is considered dirty.” It's about the worst thing you can do to someone.
Personally, if I found I was in the right place at the right time, I think I would do something far worse to Mr Putin
Anyone out there claiming this boot?
Well, I had to put on my waders and carefully set up my tripod for this shot. Actually, this was taken from the swinging bridge in the middle of the Merced River. Right below me a log was trapped on the walkway because it couldn't get under the bridge. Crazy amount of water coming off of the Yosemite Valley rim this year. This view really shows the flooding that they've been worried about this year.
Normally, the river would be about 15 feet lower than it is right now. The right side of the picture would be a meadow that would have a lot of people viewing Yosemite Falls. This year the river looks almost like a moving lake through here. I've never seen so much water coming out of Yosemite Falls before. Yosemite Valley is putting on a show that you don't want to miss this year.
Here is a view of the river from earlier in the winter after a snow storm. It really shows how much the river has risen: www.flickr.com/photos/35900399@N07/52606131465/in/datepos...

I put up a photo of a horse the other day that didn't garner a lot of interest. Well, I'm putting up another one anyway. This was a small informal Equestrian event so the riders weren't in official attire and the horses main wasn't braided.
Pseudophoto. I put a blueish light layer behind the birds. That's the way I make aurora's or halo's around heads, etc.
That is noticeable in this picture, albeit scarcely. The effect of the many countourlines in the BW-version Ben_Paul_M421, made some months afterwards, surprised me.

Baltimore Oriole or as we call them, Oriolis….who right now are singing away asking me to put the phone down and come fill up their jelly!
The third train of the morning put on less of a show since it wasn't crusing through at track speed over the century mark. Wickford Junction bound Keolis/MBTA train 809 is slowing for their station stop as they approach MP 197 on Track 3 of Amtrak's New Haven Line behind utilitarian MPI HSP46 2011.
At the right center edge in the background, partially obscured by the catenary poles and signal for BORO interlocking, is the old wooden tower that was known as SS165 in NH days. Allegedly constructed in 1898, it was relocated here when the NH undertook their massive grade separation project through town and built their two new stations between 1903 and 1906.
This tower also holds the distinction of being the last in service on the corridor in MA, not closing down until 1993. Amazingly it survives a quarter century later despite regular reports of its imminent demise.
At left stands the brick Second Congregational Church that was constructed in 1904 on Park Street looking over this scene. The congregation dates from 1748 and is a daughter church of the First Congregational Church in the old town section of North Attleborough. This is actually the third structure in which congregants have gathered. Originally located in a meeting house on what is now the common, Second Congregational had a stately white clapboard building built in 1825 which was removed in the early 1950s to make way for the addition of a new Fellowship Hall and education rooms. The clock in the tower of this third building was owned originally by the city but now belongs to the church and surprisingly seems to be keeping perfect time.

Put a little stream with colorful leaves and a shed and there it is - peace all dressed up, near St.John's, NL, Canada
The CN had trackage rights over the CP to the Valero plant near Floyd, IA, when it was built years ago, but never bothered for the business. Renew interest in Iowa and business got Valero to sign a new contract, and put in a connection in at Charles City. Now the Cedar River crews work this plant via 6 miles of CPKC Mason City Sub trackage. Here the job pulls into the east end of Valero to setout 5 cars and pickup 40 cars. Somehow 3 EJE units ended up in Iowa, and somehow the 2 orange ones ended up on this job for 2 round trips. Been a long time since pair have been on the mainline in Iowa!
And so Tuor beheld a vision of Gondolin, once so beautiful and fair, now broken and covered in red hot flames and thick black smoke.
~.~.~.~.~.~.~.~.~.~.~.~.~.~.~.~.~.~.~
They told me not to build all of Gondolin, so I had to scale down and just do the King's Square, with the images of the two trees upon King Turgon's Tower, which fell and caused his own death.
Ecthelion also, of the Fountain, faces Gothmog, Lord of Balrogs, with the spike upon his helmet. From the battle, Tuor the messenger of Ulmo, with his young child Eärendil, the hope of Elves and Men, just barely escapes. But that is for another time.
I’ve wanted to do a minifigure battle for so long. I felt like finally I had enough figs! I figured out I was wrong, but still, I did put a lot of figures into this… and that consumed more time than you would expect! And finally, this is the second full castle that I've ever made. Yes, it's the first full minifigure scale castle or keep that I've ever made! It was an immense endeavour, especially for just a couple weeks.
This is my entry to the Finale of MELO, which I am honoured to be able to compete in! I attempted to recreate each scene from a different book throughout the competition, thus this one is meant to be derived from the recent book, The Fall of Gondolin. I tried my best to make this version of the Palace of Gondolin resemble fair Tirion Upon Tuna, from the Undying Lands, as well as to capture the horrible moment of it's fearful betrayal and fall, while the last of the Greatest Noldor fought bravely and desperately to the last. I hope you like it! To God be all the Glory!

My cat, Weezer was trying to play a little too rough with this praying mantis so I had to separate them. It took a few minutes for this praying mantis to settle down. He was ready to do battle.
I think this could be symbolic (and I don't mean anything to do with a wet groyne).
Taken on an evening when there wasn't the slightest hint of mist or mysticism or anyone being mysterious. Just eight seconds exposure and some moving water.
Have you ever sat on a hillside overlooking a small beautiful cove that runs into a deep blue sea 🌊 behind us, having a conversation with four Shelties….If not, I suggest that you ought to try it sometime….As it can be quite a rewarding experience….Ok, I agree that it can be a job getting a word in edgeways’ sometimes….But I like to think that I can be a good listener when put my mind to it, especially when the conversation is about Maysie having trouble getting her directions to her food bowl ever since she had a stroke last October leaving her head on the tilt and her brain has not come to terms with that and likes to thinks that her head is perfectly upright. Making her feeding a bit problematic, but no big deal as she coupes well….But Millie has come up with a solution to the problem by suggesting buying a much bigger food bowl for her to target into……And guess what….She saw one in a boutique shop on our way up here….But because it has pictures of dogs around it sold from a boutique shop, the price is £18 sterling……As I start to buck at the price, Halo stops me right there, saying that Millie Jazz and himself would raid the CraZyGang treat fund and empty their pockets and do whatever it takes to raise the £18 needed to buy the big food bowl for Maysie, which for once left her speechless with gratitude…..And yes this this is a true story, and did I not say those conversations with Shelties can be a very rewarding experience…Sigh…Oh yes indeed they can….

The locally famous Hyattsville Library saucer has been put back, during the rebuild of the Hyattsville Library. At one point, there was talk of getting rid of the saucer completely, and backlash from the community saved the saucer.

In January 2020, as part of the improvements to the Mediterranean Rail Corridor, the new Vandellós rail bypass was put into service, eliminating the bottleneck of the old single track between Vandellós and Tarragona. From then on, trains from Valencia stopping at Tarragona Capital station and freight trains would enter the city via the La Federat junction (Vila-Seca).
Unfortunately, the most important passenger services of the Corridor, the Euromed trains, would no longer stop at the central Tarragona station, but would now stop at Camp de Tarragona station, which, as its name suggests, is located "in the middle of the countryside," forcing you to take a car, taxi, or bus to get there.
