I put a mini LED light in a bottle, set the aperture to 25 and of course have to get out the tripod (5 sec shutter) to make lightning in a bottle. Don't ask why I set this up on a jar of marbles, maybe just to prove I do still have my marbles and it was a stroke of an idea, you know the light bulb moment.
"I'll put up a fight, taking out my earrings
Don't you know the vibe? Don't you know the feeling?
You should spend the night, catch me on your ceiling
That's your prize, that's your prize
Well, mm, bet you're thinking she's so cool
Kickin' back on your couch, making eyes from across the room
Wait, I think I've been there too, ooh
Oh-ooh (ooh), you've got me thinking (got me) she's so cool
But I know what I know, and you're just another dude
Ooh, that's so true
Ooh, ooh, uh"

Your left foot out

The crew from a Soo Line freight arriving in Marquette, Michigan, quickly puts GP38-2 No. 4411 (and Sister 4401) to bed in the roundhouse on October 25, 1986. Looking at Google Maps today, and it is almost impossible to tell where this roundhouse was. A more recent 2014 article about Marquette redevelopment plans states a new large hospital was being built directly on top of the site.
The things I put up with.

My vacation in Massachusetts
May 14, 2019
I bought the Navy watch cap in an Army-Navy store in Hyannis on The Cape because I was cold!
Hyannis, Cape Cod, Massachusetts, USA, North America
Here was my original description:
My Cape Cod, Massachusetts Aide Shot The New Me in Hyannis Port Wearing My New, Warm Navy Watch-cap. If I put it on carefully, it doesn’t disturb or interfere with my Cochlear Implant‼️

Taken at the abandoned Motel again back in May.
THIS IS TWO PICTURES I PUT TOGETHER SIDE BY SIDE OF THE SAME CUB BITING THE ELECTRIC WIRE AND RIGHT AFTER HAVING DONE SO. (I know sometimes people don't like to read a long narrative.)
Some lessons have to be learned the hard way. Like in this instance where this cub decided to explore the post and electric wire that surrounds the inflatable jet boat we use to go up and down the river every day.
And as is obvious, this is exactly why there is hot wire around the boat. I'm sure you can imagine what curious and playful bears could do to an inflatable boat, LOL.
So we were standing out in front of our meal hut as a sow and her 3 cubs came up river towards us. Mom was in the water just slowly looking for salmon and her other 2 cubs were off to the right, out of the frame doing what cubs do, just exploring and doing cub business.
So this little guy decides to check out the post and wire as Tim, Dana and I just watched him with slight amusement saying "OK, don't do it little buddy, don't do it."
But as soon as those words came out of our mouths, you got it, he did it.
He bit the wire and then of course got zapped.
I decided to put these two pictures side by side together like this because most of the time no one really looks at the picture when I put one in the first comment box below. So I did it this way instead.
Tim, Dana and I were laughing pretty hard at this poor little guy's expense but you can be sure he won't be doing this again.
There are some things mamas can't teach their babies and they have to learn on their own, the hard way.
no bears were harmed in the making of this photo
Just a simple candid street style Snapograph captured at London UK of someone dressed up as Darth Vader.
I've deliberately gone for a higher contrast presentation to this snap because I feel it's better suited to this type of photography and I'm trying to create a more journalistic approach to my street style snaps.

After a good workout in Lyme Bay it's time for the crew to put their gig away. Lyme Regis Gig Club was founded in 2007 and actively promotes the rapidly growing sport of Cornish Pilot Gig Rowing. The club now has three beautiful wooden boats, Rebel, Black Ven and Tempest - all built by local boat builder Gail McGarva.
All modern racing gigs are based on the Treffry, built in 1838 by William Peters of St Mawes, and still owned and raced by the Newquay Rowing Club. The Cornish pilot gig is a six-oared rowing boat, clinker-built of Cornish narrow-leaf elm, 32 feet long with a beam of 4 feet 10 inches. It is recognised as one of the first shore-based lifeboats that went to vessels in distress, with recorded rescues going back as far as the late 17th century.
Today, pilot gigs are used primarily for sport, with around 100 clubs across the globe. The main concentration is within Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly, with a number of other clubs in the south-west of England such as here in Lyme Regis.
The Georgian Railways put four Stadler KISS trainsets into service in 2015, originally built for Russia’s Aeroexpress. They are mainly deployed on the routes from Tbilisi to Poti and Batumi. On the left is unit GRS‑011; on the right ეს 003, a Soviet‑era EMU built in Riga. Due in part to the poor quality of the Chinese‑built EMUs, these elderly trains remain in operation. Put some bird seed out for the birds yesterday and they were down getting their feed, almost straight away, even though Sylvain (Évelyne's son) is also doing so, as is our upstairs neighbour!
Just liked how this one was looking at me.
Better viewed large and thank you for your favourites.
Put my camera at my window on interval shooting mode since lightning started just after the sun had set. Until the night sky had totally calmed down at about 9pm, I checked my playback. Here is the only ONE out of the over three hundred photographs in my memory card that stood out. 😀

The 'Put van Broekhoven' is a artificial lake, which is created when the site was excavated. The sand from the well was used to build the nearby A12 highway. The well lies in the Weijpoortse polder, and the mill is therefore named the Weijpoortste mill. It is a water-wip-mill, dated 1674. It drained the polder until 1975. It is now not longer in use, but under control of the Rijnlandse Molenstichting, a foundation that preserves all the Rijnland-mills (mills situated in the Rijnland-water board).
I put up a picture of this as a line art sketch a while ago. Since then, it's been sitting on my drawing table and I decided to add a sunflower and color it to go with the new little series of butterflies and sunflowers. Seems a lot more finished now.
Update: Somehow managed to lose this in my studio before getting it into the frame I made for it... Glad I photographed it and posted it here!
