This is Pup. He was a impromtu gift from Draconian one of the last times he came down. Needless to say, I fell in love and he got a very special place on my pillow (Next to Buster Valentino) still....he just looked at me with those eyes and I couldnt help it, he didnt stay there. He travels with me, to work, the bank, school. The perfect compaignion, he is quiet and loving. Welcome to Flickr, Pup!

This is the boarding kennels that I now work at..
I left my old work last July - was time for a change.
Naturally I couldn't stay away from the animal care industry LOL
Got a job at another kennels in January :)
These pups are a result of an accidental breeding (not my fault! - i wasn't even there lol)
It was my second week working there when I found out what had happened :\
Someone had accidentally put an entire male maltese/terrier out with the rest of the small dogs during cleaning time. Long story short, he got Polly, a Chi X Pom, pregaz..
The owner of Polly was very understanding of the mistake.. and agreed to letting us hold onto Polly and wean and raise the pups, and then sell them for her..
So every day at work I get to see these little guys :)
Two female, one male. They all look like their daddy ..i'm guessing... coz they don't look like their mum!
Seal pups at the base of the Ohau waterfall just north of Kaikoura. These fur seal pups make their way up the gentle stream to the base of the waterfall where they will spend several days playing in a 'nursery' group of up to 200. From there they then move back down to the coast where they feed from their mothers who have been at sea.

These are the 3 pups featured previously from the farm across the road - they are now about 10 weeks old.
Ellen brought them into our garden at the weekend to play with them so I took some snaps.
One has got a home organised but the other 2 not. They will probably go to the Assisi Animal Sanctuary & hopefully get re-homed from there. Mum, Rosie to be spayed now - just as well there were only 3 in the litter.
Went to see my friends Airedale pups today. They had just been fed so very sleepy. They are nearly 7 weeks old. Perhaps I will get to see them moving before they go!

it reminds me of something from a merry go round, or maybe the train from the perth zoo, or something. I feel like i have sat on it as a child at some time! I found it on the verge of a house in two rocks (bulk rubbish collection time) It has holes at the bottom of the cast iron legs so it can be attatched to something. Does anyone recognise it?
