I saw a lot of people carrying toy dogs around at these tourist sites. This one was particularly pretty.

This pup was born just 30 minutes before we arrived at Donna Nook.

The grey seal (Halichoerus grypus, meaning "hooked-nosed sea pig")

In the United Kingdom and Ireland, the grey seal breeds in several colonies on and around the coasts. Notably large colonies are at Donna Nook (Lincolnshire)

The name is supposedly to be that of a ship called 'The Donna', part of the Spanish Armada, which sank off the Nook (a small headland) in 1588.

Day 4. The thoughts don't stop. Pain and its friends lurk just below the surface. But every now and then the crazy needs to be let out, the pups need to be kissed and an accomplishment needs to be celebrated (I finished my taxes). All while sportin' a new skirt.
