Mission Statement

Countless dogs are without homes and in need of assistance. These are dogs who would make wonderful and faithful companions if only they could connect with the right person or family. We have made it our mission to help them do this. At the same time we hope to enrich the lives of those who adopt them.

Red male from Jazz's 2009 litter by Morgan, at 5 weeks

Not really a pup but definitely a sleeping dog. I managed to capture a photo of CJ sleeping and she looked so peaceful. I love how this photo turned out.

He started getting tired and went to fetch his blankie.

Seal pups playing on the beach at SAngel Bay, North Wales

My wonderful dog Buddy passed away about 1 1/2 yrs ago but his puppies are still out there going strong.

The Sopwith Pup was a British single-seater biplane fighter aircraft built by the Sopwith Aviation Company. It entered service with the Royal Flying Corps and the Royal Naval Air Service in the autumn of 1916. With pleasant flying characteristics and good maneuverability, the aircraft proved very successful. The Pup was eventually outclassed by newer German fighters, but it was not completely replaced on the Western Front until the end of 1917. Remaining Pups were relegated to Home Defence and training units. The Pup's docile flying characteristics also made it ideal for use in aircraft carrier deck landing and takeoff experiments.

Im usually underwater with these guys. Above the surface its another story. I know most of you seascape guys will know this but never approach too closely to a seal pup on the shore, and never touch one as your scent on it will mean that it is abandoned by the mother. She will be looking on from the surf. If you need to take an image use a long lens. Grey seal pups are often on our shores in October thanks to the photographers form Glasgow who pointed the seal pup out to me.

Here is my video of JG Thirlwell's Silver Mantis performance at Old City PAC: youtu.be/I4DyoS-P500

This year I attended the whole festival. I achieved this by volunteering for 20hrs during the 4 days of the festival. I received a Volunteer T-shirt, my Weekend 4-day Wristband Pass and I also got a meal voucher for each day! I know that I'm going to volunteer again next year!

These are my photos documenting my Day 4 experience. My fifth volunteer shift was scheduled at Regas Square Events (9:15am - 1:15pm)

Fellow volunteer, Dustin Park and I set up the chairs for the day. We were each rewarded with a Dunkin Donut. Afterwards, we got the outside setup with Big Ears signage, Bike racks and dividers. Once my shift ended, I went back to Potchke Deli for lunch. I got the Borscht, a Dr Brown's Dark Cherry Soda and a Petite Salad (to go). I went home and rested up for the evening performances.

I got dropped off near The Mill & Mine. I quickly found out which line was General Admission for the Thurston Moore & John Paul Jones show. The line wrapped around the block! Also, the show was delayed by 20-30mins. By the time I got inside, I took one pic before I left to head to the next show, JG Thirlwell's Silver Mantis. That performance was at the Old City Performing Arts Center. A tiny event space in the Old City. After the show was over, I walked over to Urban Bar and waited for my wife, Beth and our pup, Rose to pick me up. Was back home before 9:30pm.
