Mission Statement
Countless dogs are without homes and in need of assistance. These are dogs who would make wonderful and faithful companions if only they could connect with the right person or family. We have made it our mission to help them do this. At the same time we hope to enrich the lives of those who adopt them.
A new batch of puppies have been born, these are part pit/ part boxer and they are all extremely adorable. The red and white little girl is my favorite.
Possibly the best highlight of a trip this week to the Pembrokeshire coast, was finding a secluded beach where we spied a seal pup at the waters edge.
Getting as close as I dared (very difficult to tiptoe on shingle with walking boots on) with the Sigma 150-500mm we were rewarded (and relieved) when mum came out the water. I managed to find a rock to perch on that was not too close, although mum could hear the camera going off. She seemed more concerned though about the other seal in the water. Both were wonderfully relaxed and the pup looked very healthy.
We could have stayed there all afternoon but remembered we still had 4 miles to get back to the car! But it was worth lugging the big lens, even though I took it for bird shots. Many more pics to come :)
Ever since the webkinz invasion, pup has ben really quiet and moody...when they started borrowing his sunglasses and getting in front of the camera.....well, things went for bad to worse. I think it might be time for an intervention before someone becomes the victim of Stufficide

Pints for Pups: beer festival and dog walk to benefit the Berks County, Pa Humane Society: www.berkshumane.org/
A few nights ago, Ruby and I had been seeing friends in our local pub, and afterwards we decided we were hungry. I fancied a cheeseburger and Ruby had a hankering for some chicken nuggets, and so we hopped on a bus heading towards the Burger shack with the plan of walking through the park to get back home.
I bipped my oyster card and we settled down on a seat by the stairs with my faithful pup snuggled against my legs out of the way of other passengers.
Other people were still getting on the bus when suddenly the driver shouted at me to take the dog upstairs. I replied that due to my arthritis I wasn't able to climb the stairs whereupon he told me to get off the bus.
Now I know that the law is that dogs are allowed on the lower deck at the discretion of the driver, but also on the lower deck was a man with a Westie, which had been there when we got on, so I asked 'why us and not the other dog?'
He had no answer to that, just again shouted rudely at me to get off the bus.
I replied that I would do no such thing unless the other man and dog were made to do the same.
He continued to shout at me, while a friend of mine and Ruby's alighted the bus and she told him that Ruby was a very quiet, gentle dog, and seriously, what was his problem?
At that point the driver got out of his compartment and was just about to walk up to me and Ruby when a wonderful woman marched up to him and said 'Listen driver, sit down and do your job! You're the only one causing a problem here and you're the reason all of us are being held up while we wait for you, so again, just sit down and do your job or I'm going to report you as well!'.
That did the trick. I thanked her and off we went, writing down the driver's number before we got off again.
I don;t know whether he didn't like me, Ruby, women, blondes, red dogs or what, but he's going to have to come up with a reason for disriminating against us pretty soon as I put in a complaint that same night.
I don't wish him any luck whatsoever!
Sea Lion pup gets dinner. We were watching the two moms and two pups sunbathing when all of a sudden, mom number one, woke up her pup and encouraged him/her to nurse.
The two pups were born Jun 4th & 11th, 2017. One male, one female.
