Shot with the Fujifilm X-t2 and 90mm f2. An awesome combination

This is my steampunk inspired pumpkin face, outlined with glitter glue that I carved on Halloween.

I think this is the first year I didn't get a pumpkin. I guess there is still time! I usually get one and disect it with my class. We talk about the seeds and play with the gooey insides!

This is a little family farm surrounded by development. They sell their produce direct to the public. The pumpkins can be chosen and picked right out of the field, which is why the pumpkin vines are quite beaten down. I took this photo a week ago --only two days after they opened the field to the public, and already almost one-half of the pumpkins were gone! (I photographed with a medium telephoto lens to stack up and concentrate what was left.) I saw many pumpkins larger than these being carted away. Next year, I'll try to plan ahead and be there on opening day.

Pumpkins are ready!

Display of different pumpkins exposed in a pumpkin show and contest in Seegräben, in the region of Zürich, Switzerland

Drunky McPumpkin stood in the middle of the patch he called home and shivered, knowing the Witch was out there somewhere. Clouds began to roll in as the midnight hour began and Drunky knew she was up there somewhere, flying around on her 2012 Ford Knobby Stick GTO Broom.

A cold breeze blew in from the west and the hairs on Drunky's stems stood up. He could feel the evil presence of the Witch. She was close.

The Witch had tried many times to get him and Drunky knew tonight, she would not stop till she succeeded. In the distance a cackle rolled across the silence.

She came out of nowhere, flying high, a speck across the moons face. She turned, swooped down and aimed for her target, Drunky McPumpkin.

Drunky looked up as the Witch flew by so close that he could see the details of her granny bloomers. He ran, screaming in terror. His long, spindly stalks moved as fast as they could across the pumpkin patch trying to find a place to hide. Drunky knew she was close but he was too terrified to look back.

With her breath on the back of his big orange head, Drunky tried to scream as he heard the words, 'Hey Baby, Your hot. Wanna go out and have some drinks??"

Drunky fainted, face planting into the ground.

Didn't do as many this year. The Universal Monsters last year made my hand numb for a month ...

An abundance of Warner Farm grown pumpkins are scattered around Mike's Maze ready to be purchased by customers.

This is an accidental Pumpkin. It came from a jack-o-lantern that got lost in the snow. It just popped up this spring.

My very first pumpkin. In August. I hope I grow more for Halloween!!!
