Happy Halloween! Mid Michigan Railroad "Pumpkins" 2057 and 2019 lead Michigan Shore's Z627 south towards Holland along US 31, passing the pumpkin patch at Green Acres. Heavy rain and slick rail had caused 2057 to work a bit too hard and pop its crank case over-pressure switch, leaving 2019 to pull the heavy train slowly south alone.

Please let me know if you are interested in a Flickr photo not listed on Etsy or images of specific locomotives, trains, or freighters. I have been photographing trains and ships for over 15 years and have accumulated an extensive library!

Thanks for your visit and comments, much appreciated!
This pumpkin is just over two inches wide, so my skills were definitely not up to a traditional carving, at least under the close scrutiny of a macro lens!
While exploring Squamish in September , we had a look in a public garden. I did not succeeded in growing a pumpkin this year ( only sunflowers and a few cherry tomatoes). I did not carve the pumpkin I had at home , only drawn a face - will not show it on Flickr. There were lots of fireworks in my neighbourhood last night. Today we start November with sun ( unfortunately it is not going to be sunny all week) . To all many thanks for your comment . Have a good week.
"I would rather sit on a pumpkin, all to myself, than to be crowded on a velvet cushion.”
“Nature will bear the closest inspection; she invited us to lay our eye level with her smallest leaf, and take an insect view of its plan."

Nestled among woodland, there stood a quaint wooden cottage that seemed straight out of a spooky tale. Carved pumpkins casting a bewitching glow, with moonlight filtered through the towering trees and overgrown vines. Dare to enter?
It's finally Halloween! Happy Halloween everyone. I've absolutely adored doing some extra creepy posts this October. With the most amazing stores and talented creators. For my official Halloween post, I'm using the beautiful BAZAR - Johanna's Cottage @Uber. It comes in two texture versions. I've used the grey one for this post but the white will absolutely feature in an upcoming winter wonderland photo. Its super cute, and if you're a plant lover - there is a greenhouse almost as large as the main room. Perfect for those who don't need a huge home at only 55 Li.
I've decorated the pathway with DRD's Spooky Pumpkins. The light from these radiates so beautifully creating that iconic orange glow of Halloween. Finally for the landscaping, I'm using a lovey Autumn textured Little Branch HornBeamTree (v2).
Have a wonderful Halloween.

For reason that I carved Halloween pumpkins too early this week, I found myself carving replacements this morning,
if you happen to take in the Halloween event,
Happy Halloween!
From a Flickr Meet-Up in Napa Valley.
A beautiful day - warm and sunny - weaving through the Napa Valley with a Flickr Friend in search of photo delights. You can't beat it!
This one is a blast from the past. My daughter and our neighbor were a year and six months respectively in this photo. They were having a grand old time. Wow do they grow up fast.
This was our spot for picking a pumpkin this year - a farm located close to the Provo airport. Along with a pumpkin patch they had a corn maze, a hay fortress, wagon rides, and other activities to celebrate the fall season.
