I bought a BIG pumpkin in the supermarket and they had a bucket of 99cent ones and I peeked in and there was Pumpkin Butt looking right back at me, I HAD TO GET IT!

I wanted to show off my fall-themed pedicure (spring toes here), then the pumpkin got involved, then I had to include my bizarre monkey-toe capabilities, and it went downhill...

I have monkey toes of Doom. It's genetic.

I can't draw with them, but I can undo buckles and pick things up. It's handy. It's possibly the least of my stupid human tricks (I suppose the articulated ribcage and scapulae are stranger), but it does freak out those who don't have monkey toes.

I was able to set the exposure sufficiently so that even though the room's light was on, you couldn't see much of the background at all, and you could still see the exterior of the pumpkin. This is especially important for this pumpkin, as it has very cute ears which weren't visible at all in the dark version.

We've been having organic vegetable deliveries for a few weeks now and I saw the opportunity to get hold of a whole box of squash and pumpkins. They arrived today and looked so beautiful that I had to take a snap. Some of the varieties I've received will last a few months, so I don't have to try and eat them all at once! The big orange one is going to be used to make my first pumpkin pie.
