We found a little farm selling pumpkins by the side of a road after a day out to the Yorkshire Moors. I've never seen anything like it - fantastic!

The first one said "Oh my, it's getting late.
The second one said "There are witches in the air". The third one said "We don't care". The fourth one said "Let's run and run and run". The fifth one said "I'm ready for some fun". Then "oooooh" went the wind and OUT went the lights and the five little pumpkins rolled out of sight!

I took my son pumpkin picking for the first time, as he's only 10 months. It was a beautiful day! This was at Conklin Farm U-Pick, in Montville, NJ
They did not ripen by the year's first hard frost, so I cut them and hauled them into the garage to finish ripening and cure.
