It's time to think about entering the 2011 Pullip and Dal Doll Lovers Event online photo/art contest. Anyone can enter. This is a great way to participate in PUDDLE if you can't make the trip!
Last year's winning entry, Kisses When Wet by effiethedal, appeared in Doll Reader magazine (as you can see in subsequent photos).
The theme of this year's PUDDLE is cranes. You can represent the theme in your photo or artwork, but it's not required. What is required is that the entry be your own work, be new and taken or created specifically for the contest, and that it show Pullip, Dal, Taeyang, Namu, Byul, Isul, mini Pullip or Dal, or Angel Pullip or Dal. Photo manipulation is allowed, just tell me what was done to the photo when you submit it to me. If we receive enough entries, at the judge's discretion categories may be created and additional prizes awarded.

We had lots of rain in the night and the puddles were still there in the afternoon.
This is for the 365 treasure hunt, number 29 Flipped.
Challenge Week 24 - Raindrops and Puddles
For this shot, I poured about 2 liters of water on a concrete slab. The biggest difficulty in taking this shot was to avoid lens flare, so I actually wasn't able to compose the shot the way I would have liked. A fun experiment just the same.
I'm running out of ideas (and energy -- work has been super busy and fatiguing lately) but I'm determined to finish all 7 days. So today you get a mud puddle reflection. You're welcome

I wanted to get reflections of pedestrians in this puddle, but it was somewhat inadequate. I had to be satisfied with a cut-down version.
Heathland on top of a landscaped tip.. and a puddle too. I wonder where the water molecules that were in this puddle are now?
You could enter up to 4 dolls in the following categories: Full Custom, Modified, Mini, and Original Outfit. There was also a best in theme for Space.
I rotated the photo 180 degrees. I like reflections. I should have toss a pebble in the puddle to cause some ripples.
Reflections taken in a puddle during a visit to Reddisher Woods, Ramsbottom. This was one of the first taken with my Sony F828 and where I purposely focussed on the reflection to get the blurring of the surrounding stones...makes a change doing this 'purposely'!!
