September 2013 saw me seeking out photo opportunities around Aldridge, with the Struggling Monkey on Northgate being a potential target. I did track the pub down and discovered it was in the process of being rebranded as the Lime Kiln, with builders hard at work and a new sign already in place.

Bewdley and the Welch Gate provided much needed eats and drinks- reasonable prices and good food, the staff were friendly and a nice atmosphere as well!

Pub Crawl Cologne

A large roadhouse pub on the main Kingsbury Road, the Hare & Hounds is also handily located close to Minworth Green Bridge on the Birmingham & Fazeley Canal. This photograph shows the pub in August 2009 although it wasn't until Mr D9 and I came a few years later that I actually sampled a drink here.
