McIntyre's Pub was walking distance from the Harbour Masters House so we stopped in twice for dinner.

In 1928 Nottingham City Council acquired the bulk of the Aspley Hall estate in order to build a new housing estate. This pub was built as part of that development. Its Tudor style, with mock half-timbering and decorative chimneys in the style of a manor house, was popular in the 1930s and makes for a rather majestic building.

My three most favorite non-family-members ever, all in one place! :-) The stars somehow aligned, Greyhounds came from LA, and large jetliners came from Hong Kong, and Kaolin, John, and Joel all magically ended up at pub trivia night. I don't think we did very well, but was SO MUCH FUN. :-)
