Opening-act degli HIM, il 7 dicembre sono all’Alcatraz di Milano, i Biters.
Biters are a rock band from Atlanta, Georgia.
They are signed to Earache Records. Their deput LP, Electric Blood, was released on August 7, 2015.
Their main influences include bands such as Cheap Trick, David Bowie, Alice Cooper, New York Dolls, Thin Lizzy, Dead Boys, Slade, The Boys, etc. They have already received significant credit from people such as Nikki Sixx, from Motley Crue.
Biters were also featured in Classic Rock Magazine several times. and were called a "bite-sized slice of retro rock'n'roll debauchery.". In addition to Classic Rock, they were featured in other notable websites such as Team Rock, Planet Rock, 50Thirdand3rd.com, Gaffa, OUIFM, Soundscape and Alternative Press.

My pic was the winner of the daily contest with the theme- Horizons. It had won from among 300+ entries.
Unlike many other sites which depend on voting and response... the winners here are selected on the basis of qualities in the photograph and is judged by Photography gurus of the academy. That makes the contest... unbiased and all the more respected.
Make-A-Wish Alaska & Washington and Scholastic teamed up to grant Stephanie's wish to become a published author.
Make-A-Wish joined with Scholastic, the global children’s publishing education and media company, which generously agreed to edit, design and publish 300 copies of her science fiction/fantasy novel titled, “The Ruby Heart.”

Louis Tomlinson chiude il suo World Tour 2022 sabato 3 settembre all’Ippodromo SNAI San Siro di Milano.
Il live dell'ex One Direction Louis William Tomlinson fa parte della ricchissima rassegna offerta quest'anno dal Milano Summer Festival e l’annuncio è arrivato dopo le numerose richieste da parte dei fan che chiedevano a gran voce sui social network un’altra data italiana della popstar britannica, raggiungendo un totale di quasi 20mila tweet con l’hashtag #onemorelouforitaly.
È l'unico live, insieme alla doppia data di Blanco, a essere andato in sold out. Attese, infatti, circa 35.000 persone.
Quella di Milano è l'ultima data del world tour di Tomlison che ha toccato ogni angolo del globo: dall'Europa agli Stati Uniti fino al Sud America per un totale di oltre mezzo milione di biglietti venduti e decine di sold out.

During the Great War the Illustrated Chronicle published photographs of soldiers and sailors from Newcastle and the North East of England, which had been in the news. The photographs were sent in by relatives and give us a glimpse into the past.
The physical collection held by Newcastle Libraries comprises bound volumes of the newspaper from 1910 to 1925. We are keen to find out more about the people in the photographs. If you recognise anyone in the images and have any stories and information to add please comment below.

Il 27 maggio a Lignano Sabbiadoro è partito il VascoNonStop Live 2019, il nuovo grandioso tour di Vasco Rossi che tutti i fan attendono con ansia; continua con altri 6 imperdibili appuntamenti a San Siro a Milano l’1, 2, 6, 7, 11 e 12 Giugno 2019 e il 18 e il 19 Giugno a Cagliari Fiera.
Vasco non si ferma mai. “Non Stop Live” deriva proprio da questo. Una vita in tour. Riempire lo stadio milanese, la Scala del Rock, per 6 concerti 6 consecutivi non è ancora mai successo a nessuno nella storia: “Occuperemo lo stadio per una quindicina di giorni” dichiara l’artista. “CSdB.. Ci siamo di brutto, la scaletta c’è, è pronta e perfetta”.
Ciò che di sicuro lascerà i fan di Vasco a bocca aperta sarà la scaletta: i veterani saranno infatti felici nel sapere che tra le canzoni che potrebbe eseguire il cantante durante questi appuntamenti c’è anche una vera perla, ossia “Se è vero o no”, un brano eseguito finora solo una volta dal vivo, durante un tour del 2013.
Vasco Rossi, noto anche come Vasco o con l'appellativo Blasco, autodefinitosi provoca(u)tore, ha pubblicato 33 album dall'inizio della sua carriera (dal 1977), di cui 17 album in studio, 10 album dal vivo e 5 raccolte ufficiali, e ha pubblicato complessivamente ben 179 canzoni oltre a numerosi testi e musiche per altri interpreti.
Soprannominato inizialmente Il Komandante dai membri del suo fan club ufficiale, tale appellativo è rimasto nell'immaginario collettivo e utilizzato anche in ambito diverso.
Detiene il record di spettatori paganti in un singolo concerto in Italia, il Modena Park 2017, 225.173.

About the serial "Vår i Bjønsen":
The photos are not perfect, at all, but important to be published anyway. Reason: the many details, described in her poem for this "painting" tapestry, are impossibly to be seen on a distance. In fact one needs to see this painting-tapestry on a distance to see what she saw: water, shining water, pebbles, all kinds of colours, and light. She realised this painting by using other materials than paint: she even used parts of plastic, from a car, also copper wire, and as I read: even a sock. One really has to come very close to this painting to see what she used to realise the wonderful result.
I used two different distance-photos: one is edited in a way that it is an exact copy of the photo in the book about Birgit Hagen. My photos however were much more blue, and when I was ticking the text of the words Birgit Hagen has written for this painting, I realised that the reality is more blue, must be more blue, because violets (she names these in the poem) are blue, not brown, or brownish. Photo 1 is according to the book, photo 2 is the impression my camera, and more blue, and therefore more fitting with the close-ups of the tapestry-painting. A great art work.

Det er vaar i Bjønsen.
Rypene snakker sammen. Fugel som bygger.
Svart fugl med røde føtter mot brun jord.
Brune knopper. Graa klipper. Svartgrønn busk.
Rust i myrer. Blaat vatn.
Silke. Potteblaat med kvitt.
Fiolblaa. Sauesvart og kvitt.

a german company, Bärbel Drexel, requested to use my pic of an opuntia stricta in a calendar. all i requested as payment (since they couldn't offer anything else) was credit for the photo and a calendar.
