kind of...my photo is now on the cover of a book that was published by University of Hawai'i Press. THANK YOU UH Press! I'm just waiting for my sister to send me the copy of the book that was sent to my house in CA as a THANK YOU.
I was super happy when I heard about it from my mom. =)
The book is called, "Consuming Korean Tradition in Early and Late Modernity: Commodification, Tourism, and Performance"
This was published on DenverPost.com and this and several others from this scene were used in a live broadcast by 9News in Denver. I was stuck in traffic as the road was shut down for over 2 hours. I had my camera. Right place. Right time.

Dopo i doppi sold out fatti registrare a Milano e Roma, Calcutta torna col suo tour estivo il 25 giugno a Milano all’Ippodromo di San Siro per il Milano Summer Festival.
Il cantautore di Latina, forte di un magico 2018 che lo ha visto protagonista con l’ultimo l’album “Evergreen” si prepara a un 2019 live in giro per l’Italia.
Il suo disco “Mainstream” uscito nel 2015 ha sparigliato generi, appartenenze e definizioni. Calcutta ha marcato una linea di confine nel modo di intendere la musica indipendente partendo da outsider, da artista di culto, con un percorso fuori dagli schemi canonici del music business, ma attirando verso di se una curiosità sempre crescente. Merito delle melodie contagiose delle sue canzoni che lo hanno reso un fenomeno irresistibile. La sua scrittura pop non ha pari in Italia e l’attenzione trasversale di pubblico, stampa e social network ne sono la riprova costante. Un successo testimoniato anche dal disco d’oro raggiunto da “Oroscopo”, uno dei brani più trasmessi dell’estate 2016, e da canzoni come “Cosa mi manchi a fare”, “Frosinone”, “Gaetano” che registrano ormai milioni di visualizzazioni su Youtube e sui portali di streaming. A fine 2017 Calcutta si è riaffacciato sulle scene con “Orgasmo” una nuova canzone che ha subito colto nel segno. Il brano ha totalizzato oltre 10 milioni di stream su YouTube, Spotify, Apple Music, Deezer, è salito fino alla posizione #5 sulla Spotify Chart e per la prima volta l'ha proiettato nella Top 50 dell'Airplay Chart di EarOne. A inizio febbraio è stata la volta di “Pesto” che ha ulteriormente rinvigorito entusiasmi e attese. Il 25 maggio 2018 arriva finalmente il nuovo disco. Si intitola “Evergreen” ed è anticipato dal terzo singolo “Paracetamolo”. Un Pop stralunato dal retrogusto psichedelico e dal doppio principio attivo, agisce rapidamente prima con un riff di chitarra che si incolla alle orecchie, poi con il ritornello "sento il cuore a mille" lanciato verso l'infinito.
E poi c’è il live. Solo chi ha avuto la possibilità di vederlo in azione durante un concerto ha potuto testare con i propri occhi il magnetismo di questo musicista che ha raccolto consensi unanimi tra le platee di tutta Italia.

Of course, it's a book that is not releasable to the public, and I can't even tell you its name, (hence my clever cover-up of the title) so you're going to have to take my word on this.

This photograph was published in the Illustrated Chronicle on the 23rd October 1916
During the Great War the Illustrated Chronicle published photographs of soldiers and sailors from Newcastle and the North East of England, which had been in the news. The photographs were sent in by relatives and give us a glimpse into the past.
The physical collection held by Newcastle Libraries comprises bound volumes of the newspaper from 1910 to 1925. We are keen to find out more about the people in the photographs. If you recognise anyone in the images and have any stories and information to add please comment below.
