Un concerto atipico dove artisti e pubblico si trovano a vivere reciprocamente un'esperienza emozionante e preziosa.
Lo spazio urbano si rinnova e diviene autentico contenuto artistico e non solo contenitore.
I balconi e l'architettura dei palazzi diventano veri e propri elementi scenografici, parti integranti dello spettacolo.
Vertical stage è un progetto di Stefano Pesca con il supporto di EGGers 2.0.
Nato un anno fa a Torino, l'evento si sviluppa su un vero e proprio palcoscenico verticale: Samuel (cantante dei Subsonica), Pierfunk e Dj PistiSla suoneranno sui cinque balconi del palazzo prescelto di Via Stendhal (tra Via Savona e Via Tortona/MM Porta Genova), in occasione del Salone del Mobile.
La filodiffusione dell'impianto audio lungo Via Stendhal e le spettacolari luci installate sulla facciata del palazzo renderanno l'esperienza unica nel suo genere. Con l'idea creativa e la direzione artistica di Stefano Pesca, Milano potrà godere di uno spettacolo/esperienza, dove la via fungerà da pista da ballo e e i balconi della facciata da palcoscenico.

Historical structures linked to Nepal’s national hero, Bhimsen Thapa, are struggling to survive amidst neglect and natural decay. Located in Bungkotghat, Ward 9 of Shahid Lakhan Rural Municipality, Gorkha, significant archaeological sites like the Bhimvireshwar Mahadev Temple and Bhimsen Sattal are left abandoned, overrun by invasive weeds, and exposed to the elements.
Bhimvireshwar Mahadev Temple at Bungkotghat
This historic site, now engulfed by wild vegetation and eroded by heavy rain, is rapidly deteriorating. Numerous archaeological artifacts in the area have been damaged, including long stone pillars, many of which are broken and scattered. Walking through the site, visitors unknowingly trample on these invaluable remnants.
The Bhimvireshwar Temple (Shivalaya), Bhimsen Sattal, and the inscriptions detailing their history are buried under weeds and debris. Key elements of the temple, such as its five golden pinnacles, are missing. Similarly, copper plates, the main pinnacle, smaller pinnacles on all four sides, bells, and decorative elements like Peepal leaves have also disappeared. Locals recall that the site once included cremation grounds and ceremonial ponds, which are no longer visible.
The temple’s surrounding area, spread over approximately 800 ropanis (about 40 hectares), houses the Bhimsen Column, in front of which once hung a massive 3,000-kilogram bell. This bell was stolen and later found in pieces buried under sand on the banks of the Budhi Gandaki River. A small bell now hangs from the heavy chain where the original once resided. Additionally, golden urns on the Sattal’s four corners were stolen, and bricks and materials from the structure were removed.
Damaged Trishul and Dilapidated Structures
A 12-foot-high iron trident (trishul) near the temple has one of its three prongs missing. The Sattal, which previously served as a resting place for travelers, is in ruins, hidden under dense vegetation. Bricks and wooden components are also disappearing. Locals reportedly use parts of the site for cooking during picnics and collecting grass.
The Sattal’s walls, especially along the Budhi Gandaki River, have collapsed during recent monsoons, leaving only remnants of its original form. The lack of conservation efforts has turned this historic site into a dilapidated shadow of its former glory. Most valuable artifacts are either stolen or left in a neglected state.
Challenges in Relocation and Conservation
The Bhimvireshwar Mahadev Temple and Sattal were designated for relocation under the Budhi Gandaki Hydropower Project, but no progress has been made. This uncertainty has not only jeopardized the future of the historical structures but also created instability for the local community.
Earthquakes and Structural Decline
Historical records suggest that earthquakes in 1890 and 1990 B.S. (1833 and 1934 AD) caused significant damage to the Sattal. Subsequent earthquakes in 2045 B.S. (1988 AD) and 2072 B.S. (2015 AD) further weakened the structures. Despite these events, reconstruction efforts have been minimal, leading to the current state of disrepair.
Efforts to Preserve Remaining Artifacts
According to Surendra Thapa, chairman of the Bhimvireshwar Guthi Committee, the temple’s golden pinnacles and other valuable items are under the protection of the Thapa family and the local police. However, many of these artifacts remain inaccessible to the public. The 3,000-kilogram bell was found in fragments and reassembled for safekeeping. Other items, such as a large copper garland, are reportedly secure, along with photographs of the temple's copper inscriptions.
Loss of Archaeological Inscriptions
The site contains stone inscriptions detailing Bhimsen Thapa’s contributions and the historical context of the Guthi (trust). These inscriptions, vital for preserving history, are fading due to neglect and erosion. The Archaeology Department has yet to document or publish these inscriptions, raising concerns about the long-term preservation of historical data.
Expert Opinions on Preservation
Historians like Dinesh Raj Pant, who visited Bungkotghat in 1981, recall the site as historically and archaeologically significant. At the time, it was already in a state of neglect. Pant noted the presence of large inscriptions related to Bhimsen Thapa scattered throughout the area.
Similarly, archaeologist Sushil Kumar Gautam criticized the lack of preservation efforts, emphasizing that these inscriptions provide crucial insights into Nepal’s history and culture. Gautam warned that continued neglect could lead to the loss of irreplaceable historical evidence.
Conclusion
The historical structures associated with Bhimsen Thapa, a key figure in Nepal’s history, face imminent destruction due to neglect, theft, and environmental factors. Without urgent intervention by the state and concerned communities, these invaluable cultural heritage sites may soon disappear, leaving a void in Nepal’s rich historical narrative.

Dopo il grandissimo successo de “La Finale” del 1° giugno, l’incredibile concerto con cui ha riempito lo stadio di San Siro insieme a Fedez per concludere insieme la collaborazione artistica durata due anni, J-Ax torna ad esibirsi live con “J-Ax 25 – Live”, il live show da solista in 10 date evento al Fabrique di Milano.
Per una parte del concerto Dj Jad affiancherà J-Ax sul palco per celebrare insieme a lui i suoi 25 anni di carriera. Dopo 15 anni, sarà finalmente possibile tornare ad ascoltare dal vivo i brani degli Articolo 31 che hanno fatto la storia del panorama musicale italiano degli anni ‘90.

«Eccomi qua. 25 anni di carriera. Perché vado ancora avanti? Che cosa volevo fare 25 anni fa? Io, in questa vita, sono venuto per vivere ad alta voce. Per dare fastidio. Per far spostare da dov’è seduto comodo il conformismo italiano e fargli cambiare vagone.
Sono partito da zero, dal paese di 1738 abitanti e sono arrivato a riempire lo stadio con 79500 persone.
Per essere felice non mi serve altro che fare musica.
Per questo motivo 25 anni di carriera significa celebrare voi con 5 concerti al Fabrique di Milano. Un modo per vederci dritto in faccia e per farvi vedere il mio futuro.
“Il problema del mondo,” diceva Charles Bukowski, “è che le persone intelligenti sono piene di dubbi, mentre le persone stupide sono piene di sicurezza”. Nel dubbio, sono sicuro che questa sarà la scelta migliore.»
Con questa parole l’artista descrive la sua nuova avventura al Fabrique di Milano. Un vero precursore, J-Ax, capace di anticipare i tempi e in grado di rendersi sempre nuovo, restando costantemente in prima linea, protagonista assoluto di una trasformazione culturale e musicale che nel nostro Paese ha visto il genere del rap passare da fenomeno di nicchia a vero e proprio evento di massa, con una crescente popolarità, in particolare tra le nuove generazioni, che considerano l’artista un grande punto di riferimento del rap del passato e del presente.
Nel 1990 fonda, insieme a Dj Jad, gli Articolo 31. Nel 2006 il fortunato sodalizio si scioglie e J-Ax intraprende la carriera solista. Nel 2006 esce l’album “Di Sana Pianta” seguito nel 2009 dal secondo disco intitolato “Rap’n’Roll”. Dopo “Deca Dance” del 2009, l’anno successivo J-Ax crea il duo Due di Picche insieme a Neffa e i due artisti pubblicano il disco “C’eravamo Tanto Odiati”. Il rapper milanese diventa anche un noto volto televisivo in programmi cono The Voice of Italy e Amici, dove ricopre il ruolo di coach. Nel 2015 arriva “Il Bello d’Esser Brutti” e nell’estate 2016 esce “Vorrei ma non posto”, il singolo da record con 7 certificazioni platino e oltre 172 milioni di views, che porterà l’artista a scrivere a 4 mani insieme a Fedez “Comunisti col Rolex”, il disco più venduto del 2017 in Italia e certificato triplo disco di platino.
L’11 maggio 2018 è uscita “25 Ax – Il Bello di essere J-Ax”, la raccolta con cui il rapper celebra i suoi 25 anni di discografia, che contiene i suoi successi più significativi, a partire dalle origini e includendo un lasso di tempo che va idealmente dal 1993 – anno in cui usciva il primo album degli Articolo 31 intitolato Strade di Città – fino ad oggi.

Lo avevano gridato dal palco dell'Arena di Verona e ribadito a Caracalla, salutando gli oltre 16000 fans accorsi a vederli: "ci vediamo il prossimo anno con un nuovo grande show!".
La data di Milano, l'unica prevista in Italia, è fra le prime annunciate del "World Tour 2017" nelle principali arene, dopo Belgrado e Lubjana, a dimostrazione dell'enorme affetto che lega le due rockstar del violoncello Luka Sulic e Stjepan Hauser al nostro Paese.
I biglietti per il concerto italiano, tutti con posto a sedere da 28 a 60 euro (esclusi i diritti di prevendita), oltre a un limitatissimo numero di VIP Package a 200 euro, saranno in vendita dalle ore 10:00 di venerdì 21 ottobre online sul sito Ticketone.it e dalle ore 10:00 di lunedì 24 ottobre anche nei punti vendita del circuito.
Il "World Tour 2017" porterà i 2Cellos con l'Orchestra Sinfonica nelle arene e palasport delle principali capitali con un live rinnovato sotto ogni punto di vista: per quanto riguarda la produzione, luci e scenografie, il team dei due violoncellisti sloveno-croati sta mettendo a punto uno show decisamente ambizioso, in grado di esaltare la fortissima componente spettacolare della loro performance dal vivo. Per quanto riguarda i contenuti, naturalmente non mancheranno i sensazionali mash-up del loro repertorio, ovvero la rilettura in chiave "2Cellos" delle hit rock e pop, come "Thunderstruck", "Satisfaction", "Whole Lotta Love", "Smooth Criminal", che li hanno resi le indiscusse rockstar del violoncello in tutto il mondo e che continuano a registrare milioni di visualizzazioni in rete.

My second show with my new D300. Friggin' night and day compared with my old Konica as far as low light/ high ISO/ noise reduction is concerned. The blacks are perfect in every shot, now. My 50mm/1.4 should be here tomorrow! That should blow me away in low light! Otherwise, I'm getting there, as far as settings go...
