BENTLEY 3 liter Harrington 1927

Original long frame and single surviving car in body Harrington, a craftsman who equipped also Mercedes-Benz, Bugatti, Austro-Daimler or Rolls-Royce. Like its colleague, engine 3 liter of origin was replaced at the time of a restoration by one 4.5 liter, with the considerable couple, also victorious at the 24:00 of Mans. Prototype of the car of sport of the Twenties.

Prototype Deltic Locomotive

Successful prototype on 20.12.2011, some tweaking necessary. The EMDP (electromagnetic disruptor pistol) gun was one of the trademark weapons from one of my favourite NES games, Low G Man.

A prototype heater barrel based on Nopheads awesome work. I haven't tested it out yet, but it seems reliable. I'll try and get to that ASAP. A prototype heater barrel based on Nopheads awesome work. I haven't tested it out yet, but it seems reliable. I'll try and get to that ASAP.

I had very little time to design and make this decaleur for a Daneil Cattin bicycle. The bicycle still has part of the decaleur attached to the back of the stem. That part is 50mm wide, similar to the Gilles Berthoud decaleurs... which were probably originally designed by Mssr. Cattin.

This decaleur is a one-handed quick-release. It's spring-loaded. You are looking at the underside of it.

A new Prototype.

I will not trade/sell any Prototypes or wepons on display in these pictures. Anyone who asks how I got them or makes an offer will be banned.

This girl was never intended to be released, she is a Prototype ADG. She lives in a plain white unmarked box and a brown unmarked Shipper. What's different though? Can anyone tell me what the Released ADG have written on their backs?

The prototyped gameshow buzzer system: good, old fashioned relay logic. The bottom set of relays are the heart of the system. The first person to buzz in causes their relay to latch, cutting power to the other player's buzzers. The upper set of relays will be in each of the buzzer boxes and switch on the 'I buzzed in first' lights.

The 'game show' for which this was built never happened, so it was never completed. Someday, maybe.

An anonymous paper prototype/idea. Each workshopper responded to one of the best ideas from their team brainstorm, using any of the various materials I provided.

many of the ideas considered geolocation, personalising the Gormley figures, engaging young children, various "Where's Wally" ideas and many more brilliant ideas.

From June 1-12, 2014, teams gathered for the EcoCAR 2 Year Three Competition at the General Motors Milford Proving Grounds in Milford, Michigan and at locations throughout Washington, DC to compete in more than a dozen technical, communications, and business events. Throughout the ten days, vehicles participate in engineering test similar to those conducted by the automotive industry to determine a prototype's readiness for production, and ultimately prove the viability of their advanced technology vehicles.

After most of the design was complete, they built several different versions with the gears set up differently, with the motor driving different wheels. They tested the different versions against each other, and this is the one that had the best battery life (beating the others by several hours). The checkered pattern and silver writing are there to distinguish the versions from each other.

trick fork tapered tube to reduce weight.

700 bar spin no problem with pedal clearance all the way around up to 40c tires.

seat tube dimpled for tire clearance and sucked in rear wheel. chain stays 400.

clears 35c smashed in the dropouts. also the drop outs are long for extra clearance.

the BB drop is 55.

the headtube angle is 74.

I'm currently busy designing a bunch of breadboard widgets. Namely, small pcb's that you can use while developing circuits on a breadboard. Final version should have enough widgets to fill an entire eurocard without making duplicates. This is the first test (call it alpha release ;)) As soon as I have tested all the widgets I'll release the schematics and pcb files. This board contains:

avr isp connector

5v power supply

max232 level shifter

firmware usb

led board

more information and widgets coming soon. btw, if you can think of more widgets let me know.

p.s - this is also the first board that I tried to tin. doesn't look too bad.

p.s.s I'll take better photos with my camera at a later time.

My circuit board sockets directly onto the LCD pins. That leaves the other side floating. I decided to 3D-print a custom support for that side. This shows a flattened printout of the design, checking that the dimensions are right.

In 1981, the U.S. had a large reserve of silver in its stockpiles. Silver prices were rising. And a few hard-money advocates suggested the US should do something with this silver.

Enter our old friend Conrad J. Braun - riding high on the early success of Gold Standard Corporation. Conrad was pushing for hard money and seigniorage-free silver. Idaho, as a major producer of silver, could be expected to be fully behind this concept.

So this set was produced to promote the idea before influential politicians - and which actually came to fruition a few years later as the Silver Eagle bullion coin.

But in 1981, a young Representative from Idaho named Larry E. Craig was the only politician to voice this support. On 11/13/1981 Craig proposed H.R. 4965 the Free Market Silver Dollar Act.

No one else thought it was a good idea and Braun and Craig's lovely little idea was shuffled off to the Subcommittee on Consumer Affairs and Coinage,

Braun later went to prison for fraud. I wonder whatever happened to the nice, warm congressman from Idaho . . . .
