Reprocessed photo from the archives

When composing photos, we sometimes look for items to include in the shot that might help identify the subject or location or both. Sometimes it could be just to make the photo more interesting or believable. Whatever the reason, props are often used. In the case of this image, a non-operating wig-wag crossing signal adds a bit of flavor to this scene. But I would guess, there never was a wig-wag anywhere along SP's narrow-guage "Slim Princess" line in the Owens Valley of California. That be said, it is wig-wag Wednesday and for me, it looks appropriate. Or maybe not depending on how much of a purist you might be. + these are props for a photo shoot i did recently. but yeah we ended up eating them as they are the real Bouchon macarons... ;P

It’s silly but I do love props! This is supposed to be for cellphones but I wouldn’t chance it. Perfect for Scotch tape and I’m sure you’ll see it a lot

This car is a prop on the property of Klug's Photo World www.klugsphotoworld.com/ Last evening was our photo clubs annual Model Shoot headed up by Jeff Klug at his Studio. Each year we get five or so new models just starting out and as a club we shoot them in various locations (setups) outside and inside the studio. Each club photographer that partakes in the event provides ten of our best shots to each model for their portfolio. Jeff is also head of the Menomonee Falls Camera Club www.falls-photo.org. I hope to post some of my photos soon.

I went to Hobby Lobby today and bought a couple of little things for the nightstand in Kess's apartment. The little jug of roses I found in the miniature/dollhouse section. The little bottle I found in the scrapbooking section. I filled it with beach sand and added the sea shells from my own collection.

Just for pose, sure that you will need one of this, this summer ;)
