Taken from underneath. I had to prop this up because the bloom is so heavy. I've got to find flower props for next year to keep everything upright. This is from the tallest and most mature plant. The tubers are what the flowers grow from but they get so darned heavy.
A prop for a play used to bash someone in the head.
End detail. The dowels were used as a handle while painting. When we were done, we pushed them in to add a little extra support.
