Props designs I did for the short movie "Spookeri" that we made at TAW. After we rejected 2D backgrounds, we had to produce a lot of 3D assets to compile a scene with. Since we wanted to keep the painterly + drawn style, we decided that instead of faking texture we'd just draw them on paper and take photos of them and apply filters. That worked like a charm and as this project has been done almost a year and a half ago I feel confidence in the idea and I'd love to revisit it and make it a lot better with my now superior knowledge.

I don't typically use props but a family friend wanted me to give this ruber duck to Steve when he returned home from deployment. I liked the human-like expressions that you can make a prop have. It was fun to play with. Maybe I'll do some more soon.

This is a good place to mention that my friend (who has never done props or even much in the way of arts and crafts) took the blank I made and did all of the carving and painting. I walked her through the process while working on one of my own. Hers came out a lot better.
