While fishing on Lake of the Ozark a Chinook Helicopter appeared from around the point flying low and slow. the prop wash made it almost appear he was trying to wash the Chinook. But in reality he was part of a training exercise being conducted by our great men and woman of the U.S. Army.

The 29th should be really is 1st. I do know that the prop and I swap spots on my husband's list of priorities.

I take my hat off to all the bloggers who post every day. I tried that in February and burnt myself out... I don't know how you do it and keep your pictures so imaginative and fresh. Much love ♥
Two deteriorating buildings out in the middle of nowhere brings up a lot of questions. The one building still holds some hay along with a tractor that is ancient and the other small structure is propped up for reasons only known to the propper. When I went around the the front I found the inside to be the interior an small, old house with fiber walls. There was no sign of insulation and I gave a nod of appreciation to the folks who pioneered our state and lived through our rugged winters. It could not have been easy.

Farms have changed from pure and organic places out in the country side to highly efficient production areas with fully automated aseptic processes - the changing of an image.
During several years now I am following these traces of agricultur within its transition - often hidden at the outskirts of small citys or villages. You'll never see any animals there, you don't even hear them. The smell of thousands of these creatures is taken away by efficient filter systems. The lives of these animals is unvisible and not recognized by anybody except of the farmers or better said agrar technicians.
There are biogas plants which look a bit like atomic plants - in a way artificial and extremely clean and propper.
So many different aspects are spotted during my photographic work on this topic and I guess it is worth to share my experience.

There are different reasons for having napkins at your table in a restaurant: signaling the start of a meal, keeping clothing clean, wiping your mouth and fingers, and signaling the end. This squirrel found a paper napkin in the garbage bin beside the park restaurant. I would like to say that he used the napkin to wipe his mouth and fingers clean. However, I watched him eat the whole napkin! I am not sure if actually swallowed it all or he is bringing it somewhere to regurgitate and use it to make a nest.
