On this particular evening, we saw four rainbows at different locations along the road in Yellowstone. The evening light, and the beauty of the sky made this one particularly beautiful.

I think, when Monday starts with a gentle sunshine it gives a promise of a good week ahead :) Happy Monday!
I promise I haven't Photoshopped this...it really was that pink! It was so pink that I interrupted my BBQ to go and take this photo! The sun was setting behind me at this point, and i hardly even noticed the increasing colour in the sky to the south east over the Torridon mountains. To be fair, I was hungry and looking at a BBQ.
This was taken from Sands Campsite at Big Sand nr Gairloch - a brilliant place, will definitely go back.
Uma das promessas para 2014 é a de fotografar mais, e se inspirar mais. Então aqui estou começando o ano postando no Flickr depois de tanto tempo sem fotos novas.
Feliz Ano Novo!
For a few weeks after X396 spectacularly hit the ground, every scheduled train on the IC was just completely screwed up. A trains practically didn’t exist, Q trains were hours behind, and none of the motive power really matched what it was meant to be. After some time though, things got back to normal, and the ICs themselves returned to their promised trains. Having not caught one in a few weeks, spotting A407 with IC1024 and IC1027 was nothing short of a blessing. After waiting until 1pm, A407 pulls out of the South Tolono siding towards Champaign for yard work.
Some of the flowers around here have been fooled into blooming due to the warm weather. I'm afraid they may get killed by a freeze before Winter is over!
Not quite fulfilled................,it looked like the sky was going to 'explode',............ but somehow didn't.............,thiswas as good as it got, still some nice bits of light.I will keep trying! ;)
Thanks for looking,
Chris.

Spring blooms are extra late this year due to a stalled cold weather pattern that has temperatures well below normal. This is a choke cherry sprig well budded up.

I love how cool it is that meeting internet-photo friends feels very much like being reunited with your long-lost best friends.
This summer, I had the pleasure of meeting the awesome, crazy fun and outstandingly pretty Paula Ohman.
We laughed, we walked barefoot, we ate pizza, we got into waterfalls and I tried to pretend I could pronounce words in german.
It's sad that people as awesome as her live so far away from me. But how amazing is that I can say that I have friends that far away.

We had a lot of rain & high winds here in Northern NJ. Then it cleared up, the sun came out & this beautiful RAINBOW appeared!!
I've been searching for rainbows every time it rained the last few weeks. I was hoping that God would send one to me, & it would let me know that everything's gona be ok! It would let me know that there's an end in sight! An end to this Covid-19 & being quarantined to our homes.
When the tears get near your eyes
Will I be the one that's by your side?
Will I be there when you call me in the middle of the night?
Will I keep the rain from falling down into your life?
I promise, I promise
I promise I will
