Behold, my friends, the spring is come; the earth has gladly received the embraces of the sun, and we shall soon see the results of their love!

For a few weeks after X396 spectacularly hit the ground, every scheduled train on the IC was just completely screwed up. A trains practically didn’t exist, Q trains were hours behind, and none of the motive power really matched what it was meant to be. After some time though, things got back to normal, and the ICs themselves returned to their promised trains. Having not caught one in a few weeks, spotting A407 with IC1024 and IC1027 was nothing short of a blessing. After waiting until 1pm, A407 pulls out of the South Tolono siding towards Champaign for yard work.

I love how cool it is that meeting internet-photo friends feels very much like being reunited with your long-lost best friends.
This summer, I had the pleasure of meeting the awesome, crazy fun and outstandingly pretty Paula Ohman.
We laughed, we walked barefoot, we ate pizza, we got into waterfalls and I tried to pretend I could pronounce words in german.
It's sad that people as awesome as her live so far away from me. But how amazing is that I can say that I have friends that far away.

We had a lot of rain & high winds here in Northern NJ. Then it cleared up, the sun came out & this beautiful RAINBOW appeared!!
I've been searching for rainbows every time it rained the last few weeks. I was hoping that God would send one to me, & it would let me know that everything's gona be ok! It would let me know that there's an end in sight! An end to this Covid-19 & being quarantined to our homes.
Let the new night bring you peace
And the promise of tomorrow,
Where we can wake to a new beginning.
Tomorrow, I'll have only lost their faces-
My friends and family,
Memories of all we had
And the times we should have lived,
And tomorrow America just might fall apart.
tomorrow, tell me,
Where will you wake up?
Beyond title, beyond lease, careers and laws,
Something more than borders on a map...
And the sun's always rising in the sky somewhere,
And if young hearts should explode
From all the lies they've been told...
To live through one night like this,
I would trade it for the silence...

A few more shots from my visit to Nymans on Friday. Looking out of my window at the pouring rain, I know that Spring isn't quite here yet, but it's getting closer by the day. :)
This photo was taken for an event at Spira, a fantasy RP sim, for "Pan's Purge" this past weekend.
Characters were given the choice to voluntarily sign up by interacting with the NPC eye I'm pictured with, and accept it's 'power' but in return they were able to be thrust into combat without consent for about two days.
Chapter 19
Harry looked back into the flames, and jumped.
Sirius’ head was sitting in the fire.

Like promised, here is a MOC with a fireplace. The Gryffindor Common Room has been done before by Marcel and his version is fantastic.
I wanted to do this scene so badly, but was afraid of the task to come up with a small enough version of Sirius’ head. As you can see, he looks more like a stereotype Mexican western movie gangster (no offence) than Sirius, but that was the best I could think of in this short time.
On the other hand, I’m pretty satisfied with the firewood stand and the fireplace grate, which was inspired by the one in the film.

If you haven’t had a look already, please visit the other builder’s pages and see what they created for this Harry Potter series. Each MOC is a little work of art.

You promised me you'd never leave me
You lied
Initially, for this photo I didn't have the heart on my hand. I had my tripod all set up and the camera's self-timer set and would run behind the shower to get the shot. But after reviewing the pictures, I thought it looked too plain. So, I drew a heart on my hand and did it all over again. =] This is what turned out.
My dear friend "G" asked me if I could wear my spec's in a video, although I do remove them after a while I hope this will do, filmed on a dull day so light was not very good. Thanks for watching. xxx.
the eggs should hatch, if they do, on friday.
now we wait.
[the egg on the right has a film flaw, it's not hatching]

3 March 2012 -- Thousands of people marched to the offices of the Hong Kong city government on Saturday, demanding that outgoing chief executive Donald Tsang stand trial following allegations of ethics violations in his dealings with businessmen.
Organizers said more than 5,000 participated in Saturday's march, but local police estimated about 2,800 turned up at Victoria Park, the site of Hong Kong's annual Tiananmen vigil and where the protest started.
Hong Kong returned to Chinese rule in 1997 amid promises of a high degree of autonomy. But China's leaders have kept grip over political and administrative elite from behind the scenes.
The city's seven million people can elect some legislative and district council members, but have no direct vote for their top leader, who is selected by a 1,200-strong election committee comprised largely of business leaders and Beijing loyalists.

A composition practice according to Stephen Shore's work. I took this pic at a resting station during sunset, the sunset yellowed everything which softened the contrast as well. I was attracted by the cloud and pole, the pole just stood there and the cloud seemed have a lot of story to tell. The scene was beyond my words.

The ponies run, the girls are young,
The odds are there to beat.
You win a while, and then it’s done –
Your little winning streak.
I’m turning tricks, I’m getting fixed,
I’m back on Boogie Street.
You lose your grip, and then you slip
Into the Masterpiece.
And maybe I had miles to drive,
And promises to keep:
You ditch it all to stay alive,
