A light.
The Cove of Neptune has one scene of incomparable beauty created from exceptional concretions and the transparancies of its inner lake. E' a great cove that has a development of 2.500 metres, with numerous knows them, wide galleries, limpid smalls lake, deep pools, narrow cunicoli that render it very complex. In its inside it re-unites a series of naturalistic peculiarites without equal that render it one of the more interesting and pregevoli of the entire Mediterranean basin. Geologically Capo Caccia appears constituted from cliffs of the Cretaceous period, whose age is comprised between 135 and 65 million years ago.

As I got off the train at Upper Hutt this evening (on my way to the hairdresser) I saw someone taking a photo of the sky. I looked up and saw this.

I've been wanting to make a capelet from this Pendleton plaid since last winter... I just couldn't find a pattern with small enough pieces to make it work - so I decided to use some butterscotch velvet to make it work. It's some weird bavarian hybrid but I like it - and it's really warm (I interfaced it with flannel).
I did make 5 dozen cut-out cookies today - It's not all sewing!
I was drawn to seeing my grandmother's handwork on the ribbon detail across the pocket. I knew that I would always love seeing it. This detail helped me see the potential of redesigning her craft project into something that I would use and love.

Governor Kay Ivey joined Special Aerospace Services (SAS) for a groundbreaking ceremony on their 55,000-square-foot expansion project in Huntsville’s Cummings Research Park, Wednesday September 29, 2021 in Huntsville, Ala. The project is part of SAS’s expansion strategy that will expedite its strategic, tactical, manufacturing, logistics and R&D activities. Serving clients such as NASA and the Department of Defense, SAS provides a full-cycle solution portfolio that includes tactical engineering support in propulsion, avionics, systems, safety and launch site integration, as well as rapid prototyping, manufacturing and procurement of mission-critical aerospace hardware. For 2 weeks we took over a shopfront beside Tommyfield Mkt in Oldham. Using my material from Bangladesh (the fdesh project) and the 1st draft of Nick Ahad's script 'Not a Drop' - which winds together the stories of 3 characters affected by climate change - we installed and devised a piece of digital theatre into the shop, which alongside my workshop elements were run in 2 hour blocks for a range of groups from the area.
Oldham college ESOL group. I have worked with the esol course before. With young(ish) people from across the world we had some great discussions about climatechange and their reactions to it. A fascinating mixture of youthful naivete and experienced opinion.
