Project 366 (2012) July 2, 2012 184/366
This front page story is about the company where my daughter works. And the construction site is where her husband works.
The street outside my apartment is being torn up for whatever reason, but there's lots of piles of stuff around, so here is a pile or rocks.
This is image no. 279 of 365 for my 2011 365 project.
"Hittin' the road"
The family is headed to Boston for a long weekend and it will be Tyler's first time on an airplane... wish us luck as we are gonna need it. Should be a good trip though as we are going to see a lot of Liz's family (her aunt and uncle are up from Arkansas) and we get to see her siblings whom I haven't seen in over a year. Can't wait... well, except for that whole plane thing with Tyler.. that I can wait for... lol.
As we will be traveling this weekend I will not be around nearly as much, but no worries as I will catch up later next week. Of course it looks like I am headed to NY the same day we get back from Boston, so it may be a little longer until I am back at it. See you all on the flip side.
Oh, and GO YANKEES!!

Lunch at the very popular Guu Izakaya on Church St. in Toronto- assorted fried fish with tasty accompaniments.
Today was interesting. It seems like for the past couple of days, all I've been wanting and doing is sleeping.
Went to Matt's birthday party tonight and had some fun. Man, I wish I was 18 already!
Day 5 complete!
The City of Greenville officially began the Better Utilizing Investments to Leverage Development (BUILD) Project with a groundbreaking ceremony on Thursday, August 3.
The BUILD Project is comprised of four greenway and sidewalk projects and three streetscape projects along W 5th Street, Moye Boulevard, Moyewood Subdevelopment, Dickinson Avenue, and Town Common. The improvements are designed to transform safety, accessibility, and connectivity in Greenville’s urban core. The BUILD Project will provide or enhance pedestrian, bicycle, vehicle, and transit connections between the Medical District, West Greenville, downtown, and East Carolina University. The City of Greenville intends for the BUILD Project to support its efforts to improve safety, economic opportunity, and quality of life for residents and workers in and around the heart of Greenville.

This was taken around 7:30 am on a relatively clear day.
My ISO was set to 100.
My shutter speed was 1/15.
My F-Stop was 11.
I used a tripod.
I liked the recurring train cars, telephone poles and smoke stacks. The top third is sky.
"It has been said that astronomy is a humbling and character-building experience. There is perhaps no better demonstration of the folly of human conceits than this distant image of our tiny world. To me, it underscores our responsibility to deal more kindly with one another, and to preserve and cherish the pale blue dot, the only home we've ever known." - Carl Sagan

After a night of debauchery with unsavory company (one of them at least), Calvin suffers from a major hangover.
Susie gleefully kept him under strict bed rest.
Project I'm working on for a construction company in the metroplex.
