Dave is one of the boarders at our barn. He and his wife own something like 16 horses! He is a really nice guy and I love this little horse he is riding, Leo.

In this project, I decided to photograph an estate in South East London which is soon to be demolished.
Some of the residents wish to leave.. others don't. Regardless of this, everyone must go - those who wish to stay will be evicted.
People say the estate looks as if they designed it as they went along...there are curves, harsh lines, strange alleyways and walkways everywhere.
I'm home playing nurse to a husband who's recovering from minor surgery AND a dog with a cut on her paw. Note the fancy pink sock covering her bandage. She's so good. She'll chew through the sock when she's alone, but when Joe or I are around she knows better. Photo taken with my iPhone and edited in Lightroom using some fancy presets.

After a day of wine tasting, I was tempted to pass at dinner and drink water instead, especially when it was served in these nifty water bottles, monogrammed with my initial. But that didn't seem quite right, so just one more. El Dorado Kitchen, Sonoma, CA.
Project 365: Day 67 of 365
I often don't have enough time or energy to cook during the work week. So, since this weekend was the first one in a while where I didn't have to work or wasn't out of town, I decided to take advantage of it. The menu consisted of spinach salad with a light honey mustard dressing, whole wheat three cheese tortellini with tomato sauce, and a glass of Chardonnay.
Spinach Salad:
Baby Spinach Leaves
Mandarin Oranges
Mushrooms
Craisins
After a night of cheap wings and a hockey game (good job, Flames but still not rooting for you =P), Alex had to do his super-asian pose.
Represent with full pride, sir.

People have been thinking for too long that art is a privilege of the museums and the rich...art is not business...Art is food. You can't eat it but it feeds you. Art has to be cheap and available to everybody. It needs to be everywhere because it is inside the world. Art soothes pain. Art awakens sleep.

Carambola aka Star fruit aka Khế (Vietnamese) is one of my favorite fruits.... I love sour fruits
I was invited to a friend's house for dinner. This picture was taken in a Farmer Market , where we bought our ingredients. Her boyfriend made Stew chicken with pineapple and it turned out that I had to cook too - purple jam soup, while she was studying for her quiz tomorrow.... how fair is that? ^^
