Today is Christmas day, and I spent the day alone. I know that might sound sad, but I can sit at home all day by myself, do nothing and still be completely happy. I've always believed you have to be happy with yourself before you can be happy with others. Well, I remember over a decade ago, I use to spend my Christmas days at Denny's because it was the only place open. For nostalgia sake, I went there again, ordered a t-bone and enjoyed it immensely.
"Make something out of paper, but without using scissors or glue, and without drawing on it."
Material: Paper, nail, necklace
Time: One minute
Real feather is kind of gross, so this is my version of a paper feather, without using any scissors. I could of used a knife or scalpel but this was more challenging.
Day 59 #365 On one hand it's warm and on the other its not. For full details visit my blog.

Yeah- I'm starting with the shoulder seam and it's already needing to be redone! The original seam is right below my thumb.

The BUILD Project is comprised of four greenway and sidewalk projects, and three streetscape projects, along E & W 5th Street, Dickinson Avenue, Town Creek near Town Common, and around Moyewood and the ECU Health Campus.

The street outside my apartment is being torn up for whatever reason, but there's lots of piles of stuff around, so here is a pile or rocks.

"Hittin' the road"
The family is headed to Boston for a long weekend and it will be Tyler's first time on an airplane... wish us luck as we are gonna need it. Should be a good trip though as we are going to see a lot of Liz's family (her aunt and uncle are up from Arkansas) and we get to see her siblings whom I haven't seen in over a year. Can't wait... well, except for that whole plane thing with Tyler.. that I can wait for... lol.
As we will be traveling this weekend I will not be around nearly as much, but no worries as I will catch up later next week. Of course it looks like I am headed to NY the same day we get back from Boston, so it may be a little longer until I am back at it. See you all on the flip side.

Day 1.
I wanted a photo of myself, taken by me, but I couldn't get anything I was happy with. Then I looked through the viewfinder at the current photo on my PC monitor, and this is what I saw.
What better way to start a joint camera/PC project than with a photo of me on my PC!?
