This is the first half of my red apple. I am going to start stuffing it and closing it up once I figure out a pattern for decreasing.

Another fine old house being torn down to make room for a new one.

 

This house was big, beautiful and well-kept. Its misfortune was being on an extra big lot where people can build a really big huge house (8-10K sqft) like the one several lots away which likely won't be the top dog of conspicuous consumption for long.

 

At least with this house they're salvaging the slate roof and other reusable parts instead of dumping everything in the landfill for convenience.

Returned to sender -- an entire bushel box of WHC progress reports. This is about half of what got returned.

Construction continues apace on Cardiff's Cathedral of Commerce.

I thought we were making progress, but the truce was only temporary ... hissing resumed once eating finished!
