walls are finished, tape is gone, office is mostly unpacked. bedroom has a real bed in it. closet is coming along. munster's potty training is slowly slowly making progress.
We spent the entire day doing yardwork, which included pulling out all of the stuff we had growing in front of our house. It was so overgrown and ugly! I'm so glad it is gone. We still have a lot of work to do, but we got a good start. I'm already planning which flowers are going where. The tree that you see to the left is coming out next.
Although fascinated with the human body, my favourite part of it to draw/paint is the face and a huge part of that love goes into facial expressions and exaggeration.
In my GCSE’s for my final piece I decided to create a painting on the ‘Skull Beneath the Skin’. I wasn’t happy with the outcome of this painting so more recently decided to revisit it and redo it, as I like the concept of it, but not the outcome.
Not the prettiest shot, but I haven't really caught any good daylight in days now! Also, after I took about a million of these progress shots I realized I'd knit the last half-round wrong and had to take it out. Oops. I'm having a blast with this so far, and now that I've got the double knitting yarn-holding technique down I'm totally flying along! I can't wait for my finished cowl. :)

It has been so hot that it's hard to get to good shots. Some were taken in the mid afternoon and some in the evening. Just documenting the progress of the garden for the midseason point for the year.
