Renovations in progress

This is how far I got before I went out of town. I have two sets sewn together. Seeing everyone's progress hurts! I will get caught up as soon as I get home! I'm having fun with grandbabies though!

detail of a vector i'm working on right now.

Day 242

30th August 2012

Feeling a bit grotty today after our excess wine consumption the night before, so we had another day down by the pool. Chap is coming on in leaps and bounds in the pool and considering he refused to let go of us the last time we were in the pool, the fact that he is now swimming around on his own in the pool is a huge step! Now to get him to ditch the noodle float & the arm bands!

Progress Shelter - Toronto, ON

This is the closest the boys have (willingly) been so far. Not quite spooning, but seems like a good sign for 12 days in.

It's Wednesday again and I'm having dinner, watching progress.

This was a slower process than any of us had expected, but the roof panels were going in, one by one.

The skirt is on! Woo hoo! Now, I gotta put in the zipper and hem it! Believe it or not this pattern has been pretty easy to do!

progress with milhouse as tetsuo, this is a recreation of the cover from Akira volume 5. Painted with spray paint, paint marker, and sharpies.

I really liked this gold and ivory fabric - it gave me lots of unusual shapes to embellish.

Oil painting for a show coming up at the Kayo Gallery in Salt Lake City.

Work in progress. Started with a fineline bic biro (forgeot my pens) that kept giving up the ghost. Very unhappy with the wheels. A5 spirral sketch pad

I'm using photos now to figure out what's wrong with feature placement. usually eye focus...

This is Feta, my current favorite head of the bunch I've been sculpting. I know EXACTLY what I want to do with a finished Feta~

Haha, she's so very odd and probably no one but me will love her, but she's my baby right now. x'3

She still reminds me of a fish and a horse at the same time. O_o

The process of updating Smash Bros and obtaining the new character was convoluted in different ways on each console. At least I wasn't trying to do it on the train with the Wii U though ^^;

Slowly - but progress none the same.

Excellent Olympic exhibition at the National Portrait Gallery. My advice though is to have your coffee at 'Notes' at the bottom of St Martin's Lane rather than in the gallery cafe.
