I finally started the cuff for my second German Stocking. Of course, there's a lot more to finish before I can say I've got a pair! I'm hoping to have the second sock finished before I head home for Christmas, but that's probably wishful thinking.

Well, what a day's work can do......there's a whole house there!!Our realtor called us this afternoon to tell us that she was out front of the house and they were putting on the roof!!

So they are building a new building for the company I work for next to the one I am in. There used to be these really nice trees right at the edge of the property. They were at least 150 feet tall. Now the are gone :(
I am not sure why they had to take them down. They were on the property line and I am fairly sure wouldn't be too close to where the building is going to go. They didn't heven do it in such away that they could replant them. They just threw them in a pile and then into a wood chipper.
a couple fish paintings in progress. i have to finish these tonight so i can mail them to costa mesa for the upcoming show at box gallery.
the little fishy drawings on the bottom right will be cut out and glued to the smaller board.
the top one is about 11" x 24". the background is pretty much done and the fish shapes were painted fast with india ink and brush. later tonight i will fill them in with some color and then i'll go over the black lines to make it nice, clean, and crisp.
Curtains will go up tonight, and organizing is the way forward, but things are coming together in the bedroom.
this is what my Mika (Heather Sky) looks like now, she's staying with MorganOrton for a little while, getting all pimped and beautyfied.
so, sweet Morgan, if you don't like your pic of her here, which I stole just now (how rude!), just say the word, and I'll remove it ASAP!
