Here are all the blocks I have received so far for the lap quilt swap fall edition on craftster. I am so excited about how cool this quilt is going to be! The bottom four are my newest blocks received and the second row, second from the left is th one I made for me.

The Christmas gifts sewn this afternoon. Not too shabby with five distractions (children), a nursing baby, nap time (I have to be by him at all times for a nap), and more. Oregon Ducks and Carolina Panthers colors on the two velour shirts.

We also got to see the progress on my (Chad's) parent's house. It's coming along, slowly but surely.

After a late start my Kentucky Wonders green beans are looking good. I planted approx 100 seeds and have about 70 sprouts!

This is my first garden ever, and I am "taking over" the green beans for the family to can this year!!

So exciting to see leaves!

Welcome to the "Chronicles of the Aether: Gears of Reverie," a visual odyssey that weaves through the smoky alleys of a bygone epoch where the steam-driven heart of progress beats in rhythm with the human soul. Each image is a portal to an era of intricate machinery and unbridled imagination, capturing the delicate interplay between the mechanical and the mystical. These artworks are more than mere representations; they are narratives frozen in time, where every gear, every whisper of steam tells a story of dreams and darkness, of an age both splendid and sombre.

Poem:

In the gloaming of gas-lit streets they stir,

The ticking sentinels of time's blur.

Brass and copper, intricate filigree,

Wrought by hands unseen, a technotic spree.

Beneath the skin of the world we know,

Lies the aether's pulse, a ceaseless glow.

Gears of reverie spin tales untold,

Of valiant hearts and quests bold.

Through the mists of this steam-soaked realm,

Visions emerge, with gears at the helm.

In this chronicle where shadows play,

The aether whispers secrets of an age gone astray.

Haiku:

Steam whispers secrets,

Gears turn in silent reverie,

Aether's tale unfolds.

Done for the night, some quick snaps before I put it away.

Lower neon ring installed, blue table top attached, beer ceiling reflector and light installed, ice bin insulated. Puck lights illuminate the ice.

Progress after one ball of yarn.

Just a few of my current WIPs.
