View from Saint Peter's Church in Bristol, UK.

The church of St Peter was gutted following enemy action in 1940 when central Bristol was blitzed. According to tradition the building had narrowly escaped destruction during the Civil War. In 1643 the Roundhead Governor of Bristol Castle, Col Nathaniel Fiennes is said to have ordered the demolition of both the nearby St Peter's and St Philip's churches to prevent the beseiging Cavaliers from taking up positions in them. It is claimed that only the arrival of Prince Rupert with a strong army of 20,000 Royalist soldiers stopped this action.

Progress Wrestling, The Dome, Tufnell Park, London/England, 18-Jul-2018

Two weeks ago when I was making a visit to Richmond, Virginia's very own Penny Lane Pub, the waitress tossed a couple of these tokens imprinted with the bar's logo onto the table. My first thought was not "cool, free beer" (when you collect a certain number of them), it was "perfect size for beading a cab" and I stuffed them in my purse.

Progress on the new North Wall of Horta harbour as of June 1960.

In the background yachts are anchored in the harbour as the marina is full.

This view is not as well lit as the one in the bathroom. Made some fitting adjustments to the back.
