So, after deciding which scraps go together I sat down last weekend and started to sew together strips of three patches. These all need ironing before I can continue to sew three together to form a nine patch. Cross your fingers!

I know some of these won't fit together all that well, but I'm not too bothered about a milimetre here or there, as long as it doesn't add up to too much in the end. It's my first quilt after all, so things are allowed to be a bit wonky here and there :-)

Been meaning to do this for months. For 2-3 years I had been severely overweight (and legally obese woo!). This is me in August 2010, about 2 weeks before I started up school at UD. I had maxed out at around 242 in weight and decided I needed a change in lifestyle. This was easily the most embarrassing moment of my life being this out of control.

Nossa caravana Progressistas promoveu um grande ato de filiação no Jordão. Fui recebida com muito carinho pelas mais de 150 pessoas, dentre elas o presidente da nossa sigla, Naldo Ribeiro, vereadores Guedes Oliveira, João da Manguaba, Marcelo Mendonça e Deodato, este representando os indígenas, além de secretários municipais e pessoas que fizeram história no PP na cidade.

Estou percorrendo todos os municípios do Acre, fortalecendo nossa sigla e buscando novas lideranças para somar com a gente.

Quero agradecer a todos que participaram do nosso evento e aos que chegam à nossa família para auxiliar a construir um partido cada vez mais forte em todo o Acre.
