Here's the state of the bunny hutch so far. Hopefully we'll make more

progress tomorrow.

Chennai wants to be an IT hub. This is part of the stretch that's called the "IT Park". It disturbs me that building glassed, monolithic structures is equated with progress. Note the garbage strewn around.

My first impression when I saw all the glassed IT buildings was fear. I felt like the Borg had landed and was starting to assimilate the ignorant masses.

That feeling is getting stronger as I realize that this is what India sees as its future. I'm hoping to find people who concur that this is sheer idiocy.

I'm making a series of ceremonial sashes in the colors of the seven traditional planets. These photos show various stages in the organization and assembly of the pieces the pale blue is for the Moon, purple for Jupiter, red for Mars, and orange for Mercury. The sashes for Venus, the Sun and for Saturn will likely have to wait until I have money for fabric again.

Using up scraps of fabric, ironed onto wonder under and machine sewed to make a larger piece...just the quilting and embellishing to go!

On the front panel of the car there is a makers transfer(decal), rather faded after 115 years, for the "Progress Cycle Works".

clutch rod gash being patched, apparently when this body was assembled, someone grabbed the wrong fire wall.

Yellow plastic bag that stuck during a roadside clean up. It was tangled in a brier bush.

Its actually nice to see things change, Its the price we all pay for progress.
