This is meant to be a front panel for sweater. Something very bad happened with the intarsia at this point. I don't even know what. I had to frog a lot of this and became discouraged. It is living as a U.F.O. in my knitting chest. That yarn is the most amazing buttery soft merino I've ever touched. I want to get back to work on that sweater but intarsia is not very portable.
YAY! All of my detail work is finished! Now all I have to do is wax (first the details of these 20 small pieces, then the bottoms of the other 30 bigger pieces) and dip into the glaze!
