So they are building a new building for the company I work for next to the one I am in. There used to be these really nice trees right at the edge of the property. They were at least 150 feet tall. Now the are gone :(

I am not sure why they had to take them down. They were on the property line and I am fairly sure wouldn't be too close to where the building is going to go. They didn't heven do it in such away that they could replant them. They just threw them in a pile and then into a wood chipper.

Progress of the logo I am doing for my friend's car club..that is Texas in his tongue. I still need to work on the tongue and add some depth.

This is why I had to make a makeshift light table.

Curtains will go up tonight, and organizing is the way forward, but things are coming together in the bedroom.

After the S7000, I tried my hardest to obtain another Fuji that could cope with the hammering I'd given the first one.

Fujifilm came up with a new model, an S9000 (9500 in the US, I think) and I promptly ordered one. It didn't last long. I was very disappointed, and sent it back. I tried a couple of others, and they all exhibited similarly fuzzy pics.

Fuji have since replaced this model with a newer one which I'm told doesn't have the problem, but in the meantime I'd given up, and settled on this: A Panasonic Lumix FZ-30. This did everything the S7000 had, upped the resolution to 8mpixels, and had an equivalent to a 28-430mm zoom. I never regretted the choice. Very nice piece of equipment.

You can imagine my surprise when my wife replaced it AGAIN, yesterday...

latest piece im workin on. Acrylic on linen.
