It has been so hot that it's hard to get to good shots. Some were taken in the mid afternoon and some in the evening. Just documenting the progress of the garden for the midseason point for the year.

We Book Club Girls go a'painting and a'drinking some wine. Had a lovely afternoon at Macchia learning some skills and chatting about books. Love these chicks.

Schall Woodland Walk construction update as of January 14, 2021

Plan D v3.14. Bent tubes aren't going to cut it for mounting the diesel without lengthening the entire frame. So, bought a tool for cutting angles in tubes, both round and square. Looks like I'm finally getting somewhere.

Exciting progress is evident on our Knox Hall construction project.

OK, the drilling and mounting of things that go in big holes part is done.

even after ages of industrial growth this is our progress

newest embroidery project. i outlined it... now to fill it in. :)

Progress we have made so far. I'm trying something different for my flower bed this year. Instead of planting annuals, I planted Wintergreen Boxwood and Variegated Asian Sweet Flag. I am going to put a little Jizo statue in the middle and a Japanese lantern in the corner. I am just waiting for them to arrive now :)

I've followed the progress of the weeds along the road I walk most days since their lush beginnings in early spring. They've flowered, gone to seed and now seem to be dead, or almost dead.

This is a photograph of my apple AND orange. I have decided against the idea of making two different fruit bowls of opposite colors. Instead of doing that, I am making one fruit bowl and I am going to incorporate wire into my project. As you can see, the stem of the apple is made of wire, and I am currently experimenting using wire on the orange. The stems of the banana, grapes and pear will be made of wire. I plan to have wire in all my fruits. Finally, the fruit bowl will be made of wire.

Qual a medida de uma colcha de solteiro, alguem me ajuda?

Acho que o material ainda da para mais 10 blocos, vamos ver.... amanha continuo.

Remember I showed you the nispero fruit on my tree which at the time were green. Well now they are almost ripe and ready to eat; I can't wait! As a bonus, I found another bunch of fruit further up the tree.
