The garden makeover is proceeding well. The bed in the foreground is for roses and the cement mixer is not a permanent feature.

We started at our house and were on our way to the next house when I took this photo of Al in front of the star we can see from our house. We did not know that just few minutes before Jacob had tripped while running down this hill and fell and broke his arm. We would head to the ER shortly after...
It would be the first time in many years that I was awake at midnight as we got home and into bed around 3 AM.

April 1st:
- One full pouch of chain, ready to be attached.
- One quarter-full pouch of open gold rings to do the attaching with.
- Thirty-seven-and-a-half rows high, 56 rings wide piece of chainmail.
After a late start my Kentucky Wonders green beans are looking good. I planted approx 100 seeds and have about 70 sprouts!
This is my first garden ever, and I am "taking over" the green beans for the family to can this year!!
So exciting to see leaves!
