I still need to shape on it...make the horizon more straight....shadows in the water more different/ less....working on all parts of it...but this is just started today...a sudden spontanoius idea to do a landscape...nothing i do much of...but it´s rather relaxing somtimes just to do what you feel like and it is a good way of giving yourself energy in the creative process...that is how it works for me....
The Trail of Lights is an Austin Christmas season tradition, installed each December at Zilker Park, near downtown Austin, Texas. I visited here on December 9, 2017.
The beginnings of a now finished lace neck cuff using gooorgeous hand dyed merino wool from Wabi Sabi Yarns!
Pattern will be available in another week or so. Still refining it. The difference (of course) between puffy in progress lace and sleek, blocked lace is mindboggling. :)

Tearing down of Noble Hall, the last of the nonair-conditioned, community-bathroom dorms at Auburn University. A new transportation center is going up in its place.
The watercolour abstracts in progress. My attempt at taking an arty art picture, but was too hot and bothered to really try.
Some progress on the living room floor -- all the carpet padding bits have been removed and we've started scrubbing off some of the dirt.
Friday, hoorah! I have continued using break times to work on the mud kitchen and so now have the first part, which will be the lower section to put pots and things in with plenty of drainage. Much sanding has ensued and it's progressing nicely, although possibly it'll be much bigger and heavier than I initially expected.
I've no idea what to do in terms of finish yet. Something fun rather than my standard garden approach of Ronseal dark oak, but I've yet to decide. In any event, at the moment I have a tray and don't need to make the ultimate decision yet. If Juliana doesn't appreciate it my plan is to turn it into a drinks cabinet.
