New construction in de Houthavens.

Developed in oldish D76 for 10.20 minutes, stopped and fixed in oldish Amaloco for 5 minutes. I got punished for not steaming up my bathroom. Lots of dry dusties on the negatives.
I've got another Kentmere 400 coming up. Will develop different and hopefully more cleanly.
The Algoma Progress, upbound on the Detroit River, heads to Chicago with a load of Windsor's Canadian Salt.

Almost completed the inking, hoping to colour over the weekend!
Slate tiles from India being laid in the kitchen by Dave. A tricky job as despite claimd that they are "graded" and "calibrated" they must use a different standard to the one I an used to. Never mind they are looking good and when finished, grouted and sealed it will all be worth it.

Progress on our hurricane safe cat shelter as of March 9, 2008. The roll-up door is now installed. Just a few final touches on trim work outside. Next step is to acquire building supply donations and cash to finish the inside of the cat shelter.
Rebuilding and progress is everywhere in this photograph. The street filled with traffic, the orange fencing and barrels, and the rising dust cloud. The cloud is a result of ground level construction.
The Balkans War in 1999 brought Kosovo out of the grip of Serbian forces led by Slobodan Milosevic's government. Not meant in any way to trivialise this we can say politics and relations between Serbia, Albania, Montenegro,and Kosova were extremely complicated and volatile then and are still so today.
The construction is evidence of the Kosovars intent to move forward.
