well, this is the same lotos flower as i posted a few days ago - just from another angle.

yesterday i went to find out how far she is because some of you wish to see her in bloom. she will need a few more days.

Landlord (who I cannot praise enough for his tireless efforts in renovating and essentially restoring our future apartment) put the first coat of paint on the walls and already the place is taking on a different air (literally and metaphorically).

Thought some may like the see the model in it's raw form. Still had a lot of tidying to do at this point, especially the tail.

 

Bulked out with wire and tin foil, temporarily held together with blu-tack.

a building i've been walking past on my way to work. i'm enthralled by demolition.

After it is centered slowly a little at a time shape and open the interior of the bowl.

It has been so hot that it's hard to get to good shots. Some were taken in the mid afternoon and some in the evening. Just documenting the progress of the garden for the midseason point for the year.

Near my home, the new McGill University hospital is being built. I managed quietly to approach the open gate without the security guard seeing me, installed my tripod and quickly took three shots.

Let's me know how much further I need to do today. And generally.
