Measuring up during excavation of the foundation trench for the new platform wall at Honeybourne station on Thursday, June 23, 2011.
I have not posted many pictures lately, but I have been working :o) I am almost finished with the blocks for my Four Block. I am piecing these following the advice from a Gwen Marsten book...just eyeing it, not trying for perfection in matching up the blocks. I would have been finished already; however, I discovered that I had pieced the final block with the print on the background fabric going sideways so I had to take everthing off and start again! Trying to decide if I should do some type of center medallion once they are stitched togethers...and then what to do for borders?
Well, they put on the tar paper and have wrapped the house today. Got a call from the Project Manager today and he said that windows will be delivered and hopefully installed on Monday! We're getting closer!!!
Progress on the new Queensferry Crossing of the Firth of Forth on 15th September with some sections of decking now in place at the South Queensferry end. As viewed from the train on the Forth Bridge through a zoom lens, 15th September, 2015, with the new works framed by the Forth Road Bridge.
I know it's only been ten days since the last one I posted, but this one is actually on time (well, only 3 days late) whereas the last one was three months late. The last 10 days have seen a fair amount of plane work, despite me being in Alabama for half of it.
Wrapped up both of the main wing spars and both leading edges (the landing light lens for the right wing still needs a bit of work). Also got the aileron skin stiffeners riveted on, so they're green as well.
Parts shown here in green are complete, yellow are awaiting some final riveting or blending tasks, orange are awaiting primer, and red are works in progress. Uncolored parts haven't yet been worked on.

I bought Creatively Dyed roving at Rhinebeck in 2008, I didn't realize it was superwash wool. I don't spin & I couldn't use the roving for felting (cuz it was superwash) So, last year, I brought the roving with me when I visited Inger www.flickr.com/photos/ingermaaike2/ in Norway. I planned to give it to her as a gift. But, she decided to spin it for me. Now, it's time has come to be used:-)!

I strive to achieve the unexpected, to disentangle this increasingly complicated world and blaze new paths for others to follow.
For any of you dying to know how I'm doing on replacing the floor of my utility trailer, here's the latest up to the date progress photo. As you can see, I've come quite a ways! All I lack is finishing up!
I got my stuff all sorted out, and this is the current progress I have. I am hoping to make this version modular. Right now I'm working on the windshield placement. Thanks to Corvin Stichert for the JMTV itself as well as the JMTV version 1 LDD that I have been changing into the JMTV V2.
