here the walls are still rough but they're painted now! the work as been flying lately and we can't even keep up with it long enough to snap photos.
the paint is "only natural" and i think the tiles were "romance"
Progress on my #impromptualong quilt. Yes, I'm a slacker and this has been in the UFO pile for like a year.
This brick house was built in 1927 for Frank and June Craycroft using bricks made in the family brick making plant . The house has been vacant for over two decades - located on Palm Ave about one block north of Sierra Ave, Fresno CA.
At one time the owner was going to renovate the property into offices.

No difference here since last month, which is not to say that nothing has happened. The most interesting work in the last month centered around the pitot tube, which is not part of the stock plans and thus does not appear in this diagram. The rest of the work involves dimpling and deburring wing ribs and skins, which haven't led to any color changes here. LOTS of holes to work in the wings...
Parts shown here in green are complete, yellow are awaiting some final riveting or blending tasks, orange are awaiting primer, and red are works in progress. Uncolored parts haven't yet been worked on.

This is the center panel, for which I am using the same mountain-peaks motif I designed for my gansey last year. It's surrounded by a pine-tree motif.

The "off-road" fuel tank is from a 1/25 scale model.Not sure what it was.Some sort of cannister...The pump is scratchbuilt from styrene and brass rod for the handle. The fuel hose is from copper telephone wire,and the nozzle is from styrene rod...
Wendy's fire pit is coming along. She just realized it could be two
weeks of labor to finish it. Today she dug out a 1/4 of the circle to
a depth of 2". She also sifted the gravel from the sand using a make-
shift window screen setup.
