Coming up from the south the urban sprawl had long been contained by the natural barriers of marsh and wetland. Now that the northern connector is finally finished I expected the northward sprawl will resume.

The plant was originally known as Sandoz, a textile dyes business that began in Bradford and was acquired by Clariant in 1995
This site is slowly being demolished to be replaced by around 400 new homes.
I'm working on some slides of works in progress for an exhibition proposal. This is one of them.
I actually hate this print right now, and when I get back into the studio next week I plan on covering up the dresses, pushing them back a few layers. If it turns out I've gone too far with this print it may be the one that gets cut up and sewn into a dress.
We got some great pumpkins for our first batch! We'll start selling them during our Fall Tractor Show on October 19, 20, 26, and 27. Come down any of those days and pick up a pumpkin....or five, we've plenty to spare!
Don't forget on Oct. 27th, we'll be having our annual Track or Treat event during the Fall Tractor Show. Kids in Costume get in for FREE and in addition to collecting candy and prizes around the grounds, we've got Museum Exclusive activity and coloring pages available PLUS FREE pumpkins for the kids to paint and decorate! These pumpkins will be from the smaller patch but will be the perfect size for them.
Check out the website for more details: www.agsem.com/Track-or-Treat.php

This is Callie, an adorable and tiny little calico! She is one of the kittens from the late fall litter of feral cats that I am trying to help. This teensy little girl is so shy and very reluctant to let me touch her. But last night... she let me pick her up and cuddle her TWICE! Progress!! I'm hoping against all odds to find homes for these babies before winter really gets here.
Making a double layered skirt for one of my leotards.
Today has been a bit slow and depressing, I also have stress which is bought on by my anxiety related illness - and there being five female teenagers in the house tonight.
