Ms. Brenda hosts a family storytime and craft every Tuesday evening from 6:30-7:30pm.

Soldiers and family members involved with the Family Readiness Group, and commanders from the 200th Military Police Command attended a two-pronged Family Readiness Training: Chain of Command Training and Family Readiness Group in a new Era Training at Naval Air Station North Island, Coronado, Calif. June 24-26. The training provided an overview and various resources of the FRG, and equipped the commanders with additional knowledge enabling them to better prepare their unit’s Family Readiness Plan.

In summer and fall 2016, a group of Ceramics Program interns worked collaboratively to create a large stoneware planter. Soda-fired in October 2016, the planter made its debut at the Ceramics Program's annual Holiday Show & Sale.

The Seabiscuit program took place on August 2003 at Countryside.

 

Seabiscuit's former jockey lives locally and he described the world of thoroughbred racing in the 1930s when Seabiscuit was the “all-star” of all time. He shared a scrapbook filled with his racing career highlights and shared many memories. The library was filled to capacity that day.

Noted Zambian artist and art teacher Mwamba Mulangala developed a Visual Arts Program for the youth served by Lubuto Libraries, held weekly in Lubuto’s purpose-built Arts and Activities Buildings. The program began at the first Lubuto Library in Lusaka in September 2007.

NEWPORT, R.I. – International students assigned to the U.S. Naval War College (NWC) are greeted by NWC President Rear Adm. Pete Garvin during a welcome ceremony August 14, 2023. The Project imPACT Film Program was a filmmaking program facilitated by Reel Youth in collaboration with Operation Come Home and Restoring Hope. The project brought youth together in creative collaboration to produce short films that raise awareness about Human Trafficking for Sexual Exploitation in Ottawa.
