Build process for my SHIPtember build. I haven't shared WIP shots neither in 2019 or 2020, so a brief follow-up post should compensate that.

This Snowdog wears an abstract pattern in colours inspired by the colour printing process. Designed by Josh Ford, who creates art that focuses on repetition, replication and disorientation through the use of abstract pattern and colour.

This is an idea I´ve had in my head for a long time. I´ll be uploading more pictures from this series later. I had so much fun doing this. I mean how often do you get an excuse to sew two apples together?
>Edit< Recently replaced it with a slightly different version. The red and green are stronger and the rest is now completely black and white.
Afterlight phone app. It's always fun to try a new phone app to edit a pic. I don't think Afterlight will be my favourite phone app but it's fun and easy to use. I like some of the masks/frames in it. A poppy from my yard.

I'll admit it. I hate to feel vulnerable. Things out of my control make me very uncomfortable. So, I look all around and look like crazy and get confused and more confused and then all of a sudden it hits me - all I had to do was look up. When will I learn?
This one is also dedicated to sweet Tricia today. Some positive thoughts going into her 35th year.

my version of a new year's resolution.
Clock programmed using Processing. The 'planets' follow the hour, minute, and second hand, whilst the gradients change hue gradually each minute. The gradient is produced by changing the HSB values, with brightness highest for the outer ring and becoming darker by 10% for each ring towards the centre.

several light painting tries ( some with horrible results...)
HDR done from 3 more or less manually bracketed shots
a lot of adjustment layers to equalize lighting
lot of color level adjustments to remove that weird red hue (I think it was coming from the torch light) and enhance contrast .... with red popping out again :-(

adjust contrast and brightness again
clone stamp the electrical wires (some still there) and some scaffolding that were laying against the wall (should have done a better job, I know)
