#37/365 Post Process Fridays episode #2: Today's feature is a photo from the lovely Corinne aka şkinful.
This is a great shot...I love portraits that are more natural and not posed. Corinne picked the perfect time to capture this moment. I really love the blue wall, so for the post I wanted to bring them out more. I also brightened up the subject which also brought out her shadows (To correct this I did a lot of cloning and healing). I don't mind the shadows on the right so much (and lets face it, I'm lazy). Hope you enjoy this photo as much as I did! Happy Pee Pee Friday!
processed--I'm curious to know which people like better, this or the unprocessed version.
Self-portrait, taken with timer, converted to black and white, and hand painted in Lightroom.

This was the version processed by my flickr contact Coroner....he was able to brighten up the image without blowing out the brightest parts. I love Lightroom but you can't do spot adjustments, just make adjustments to the overall image. At least I don't think you can....
Coroner is a great flickr friend that's been an inspiration! Be sure to check out his stream
An experiment with split toning in Adobe Lightroom, creating a cross-processed look very easily and intuitively.
An intuitive solution for all the 1-bit strings followed by 2-bit strings, etc. For 16 bits. Essentially the same as the "Chord Catalogue" solution, but every section is upside down and backwards (i.e., enumerated in reverse and opposite endianness).

All this time I was wasting
Hoping you would come around
I’ve been giving out chances everytime
And all you do is let me down
Office end of a former meat processing buisness that would process your cow, chickens or just about anything you brought to them, start to finish. A mom & pop buisness that closed years ago and now that mom and pop have passed the family is selling all of the property off to developers.
Night, near full moon that was just coming up, 180 second exposure, protomachines set to red, blue and green, large streetlight behind and to camera left.
