Loggers, Sawmiller and Shieldsmiths
A trio of scenes showcasing the process of transforming trees into shields in medieval times. These workers are from the town of Batuhan, in northern Kaliphlin. This MOC is my entry into the Ye Olde Woodes category of the 2020 Colossal Castle Contest (CCC XVIII).

Public sculpture on the edge of Paternoster Square by Thomas Heatherwick. I've just discovered that it is actually called 'Paternoster Vents' and functionally provides a vent for an electricity substation below it.

Taking the last two kaleidoscopic pieces a little further. I wanted to make an expandable sheet of the kaleidoscope triangles which I can resize dynamically. These grabs were made with webcam input but after seeing the work of Movak, I tried pointed the camera at the monitor and was very impressed with the result. Thanks for the inspiration!

Vintage flic.kr/p/T6C4U9.
Sucker for vintage! It just opens up another world where I envision the history behind the object/subject. I need time to go through the emotions, even though is a made up story in my head 😆😁

A Snowdrop with a little bit of iPiccy magic :-)
I am going to the opticians shortly to have the back of my eyes photographed, this entails having drops put in them that affect my vision for the rest of the day. Tomorrow I am going to hospital to see a surgeon for a check up and hopefully getting some news on when the reversal operation can take place. I will try to catch up with everyone over the weekend :-)
