As a thank you present to our dedicated Kpop fans and to welcome the New Year, the first 100 K-Pop fans to arrive at the KCCUK between 28th and 30th December received a fantastic K-Pop calendar and delicious Korean snacks.
With fans arriving early the gifts didn't last long, but most stayed to enjoy the Korean Song Room and to watch kpop music videos.

Centenas de pessoas estiveram presentes nas escadarias do Espaço Popular, na noite deste domingo (19/12), para prestigiar a Orquestra Mineira de Rock e as presenças ilustres do “Papai Noel” e da “Mamãe Noel”. Uma noite animada e de muita música boa deixaram o “Natal de Luz 2021”, realizado pela Prefeitura de Contagem, mais especial.
Durante a apresentação da Orquestra Mineira de Rock, o público pôde fazer uma viagem pelo rock clássico com hits de bandas como Queen, Yes, Beach Boys e Led Zeppelin que se misturaram às músicas próprias de Cartoon, Cálix e Somba, além de clássicos da Música Popular Brasileira.
A festividade natalina contou com a presença da prefeita Marília Campos, acompanhada da secretária de Cultura, Monique Pacheco, do administrador da Regional Sede, Lindomar Diamantino, e da diretora da Economia Solidária, Mara de Castro.
Na ocasião, a prefeita aproveitou para visitar o Carro da Vacina e cumprimentou o público, além de visitar as barracas e conversar com os feirantes da Economia Solidária. “Muita alegria de reencontrar vocês, de podermos sair de casa, de todos estarem tomando a vacina. Que essa alegria que estamos proporcionando neste fim de ano espalhe otimismo, esperança e que o ano que vem seja um ano melhor para todos”, desejou.
O músico e morador de Contagem, acompanhado da família, Felipe Chabam, disse estar muito feliz de vir bandas legais de BH para Contagem. “Com a vacina ajudando, Contagem pode ter esse tipo de confraternização, que faz a gente se sentir bem, inclusive, como cidadão de Contagem”.
14 Bis fecha o “Natal de Luz”
A Banda 14 Bis fecha com chave de ouro a programação cultural do Natal de Luz, em Contagem. O show de encerramento acontece nesta segunda-feira (20/12), às 20h, no Espaço Popular de Contagem (confluência das ruas Presidente Kennedy e Dr. Cassiano) no Centro. Não há necessidade de retirada de ingressos.
O “Natal de Luz” começou na noite do dia 25 de novembro, quando foram acesas quase dois milhões de microlâmpadas de enfeites natalinos, espalhadas por 31 pontos da cidade. A programação do “Natal de Luz” contou com mais de 20 atrações culturais, incluindo bandas musicais e circenses, com artistas locais e de renome nacional, que se apresentaram em todas as oitos regiões do município.
A banda, criada em Belo Horizonte, no ano de 1979, é formada pelo quarteto Sérgio Magrão, Cláudio Venturini, Vermelho e Hely Rodrigues. Reconhecida nacionalmente, é responsável por sucessos como “Planeta Sonho”, “Nova Manhã”, “Caçador de Mim”, “Bola de Meia, Bola de Gude”, entre outras.
A Prefeitura de Contagem alerta para o uso de máscaras e atenção aos protocolos de combate à pandemia do novo coronavírus durante as atividades do Natal de Luz 2021.
Carro da Vacina
O Carro da Vacina estará no local do show, no horário das 17h às 22h, vacinando a 1ª e 2ª dose para o público a partir de 12 anos, além da dose de reforço para o público a partir de 18 anos, com 4 meses após a 2ª dose. Também estará vacinando a 2ª dose para imunossuprimidos a partir de 18 anos, com 28 dias após a 2ª dose.
Para receber a dose no Carro da Vacina é necessário levar o documento pessoal de identificação, o CPF, comprovante de residência e o cartão de vacina.

Presenting: The Lesula! The official announcement came only yesterday of the identification of this previously unknown species of monkey! It should be noted that this is only the second new species of African monkey discovered in the past 28 years! The first Lesula was discovered in 2007, in a school compound in Opala, in The Democratic Republic of The Congo. It was not recognized as a new species at first because it bore a superficial resemblance to another species; the Owl-faced Monkey.
But, it was eventually noticed that the coloration of that particular specimen was unlike any known species. This led to further investigations in the area. Over the ensuing three years, additional specimens were located in the wild. Careful examinations of their genetic and anatomical traits finally revealed the specimens for what they represented; a previously unknown species! Initial studies and observations have begun, but it is far too early to have any definitive information pertaining to such things as specific diet, lifespan, average weight, etc.
To date, their known range only covers an area of approximately 6,500 sq. miles (16,835 sq. km.), all located in the central DRC. Though their range is remote, and sparsely populated at present, the Lesula is threatened by local bush meat hunting. Given their limited known range, it is believed that they are likely to be relatively few in number. This would make them especially vulnerable ,as a species, to extinction; not only due to hunting, but from such factors as habitat loss as well. #ourbreathingplanet
