Présentation de l'oeuvre
Source est installée à l’entrée principale du centre-ville, sur une terrasse aménagée à l’intersection du boulevard Robert-Bourassa et de la rue Wellington. La sculpture en acier inoxydable consiste en un entrelacement aléatoire de lettres tirées des alphabets latin, grec, chinois, arabe, cyrillique, hindi, hébreu et japonais, qui donne corps à un personnage monumental en position assise. L’œuvre est une allégorie de l’humanité : comme les cellules assemblées forment le corps humain, les lettres composent des mots, et les gens forment une communauté. Source représente ainsi la richesse des cultures que Montréal a accueillies au cours de ses presque quatre siècles d’existence. Symbole du passé, du présent et de l’avenir de la cité, la sculpture Source, vue à la lumière du jour ou sous son éclairage nocturne, invite les habitants à marcher, à rêver et à se rencontrer.
Source, un mot identique en français et en anglais, fait référence à la naissance d’un cours d’eau, mais peut aussi représenter les racines de l’énergie et de la vitalité d’une ville : ses habitants et leurs origines, la fluidité et la créativité des idées, les cycles de mouvement et de renouvellement.

And now for a more recent photo. Christmas came early this year as the Marshall local heads south with a trio of BN standard cabs kicking up some fresh snow outside of Granite Falls.
A wonderful location high in the Italian Dolomites
This beautiful 14th Century Bell Tower hints at what lies beneath the surface: namely, Curon, an Italian village that was flooded by the government in 1950 to create an artificial lake.
I almost didn't make this trip but despite a late start due a 2nd dose or pesky Covid I finally Joined Rohan Reilly and a great team of people. This location was one I really hoped to be able to visit.
I chose this viewpoint as it appealed to my minimalistic taste and the weather app showed only a couple of possible snow showers so I set up my camera and then waited keeping an eye on my snow radar app, finally a bit a of a snow blizzard passed behind the tower almost hiding the distant mountains. I was very lucky as this is the image I wanted and had in my mind.

Hoy os presento unos enlaces a Youtube y Spotify. Es un potcast con la primera de varias entrevistas que se van a realizar a cooperantes de diversas ONG. La primera entrevistada es Susanna Gomez, presidenta de Children Of Africa. A mi me ha parecido una entrevista super interesante para conocer como funcionan estas organizaciones, que dificultades se encuentran por el camino, que errores cometen los cooperantes , como se vive la corrupción en estas organizaciones, como funcionan los apadrinamientos, etc. etc. El canal se llama Mejora tu Mundo. Creo que es importantísimo, con la que está cayendo y la que se avecina, que conozcamos de primera mano como funcionan , para que sirven , como se financian, etc. etc. y muy importante , como podemos colaborar con ellas, dentro de nuestras, a veces diminutas posibilidades. Las entrevistas son de hora y media, y direis ufff.... hora y media que largo, pero os aseguro que la entrevistada es una chica super interesante. Y sino, siempre se puede escuchar en varias veces. Disculpad el "rollo" pero me ha parecido una iniciativa muy muy buena. Y ya me perdonareis también si notais un cierto "orgullo" en mis palabras ya que el entrevistador , con muy pocos medios pero muchas ganas , es mi hijo.
