En el lugar donde se ubica el actual templo de la Purísima Concepción en Zumpango estado de México, existió de proporciones menores se menciona en el año 1540 mismo que fue construido por el encomendero Alonso de Ávila, este dato se encuentra en datos de nueva España, en relación a la transacción de tributos de los pueblos de la Nueva España.
Pasado el tiempo se observa que se modifico la fachada y la torre campanaria aproximadamente a finales del siglo XVII y por año 1707 llego a esta parroquia el lic. Alonso de Navarrete, cura parroco asignado a este lugar, de inmediato procedio a modificar la nave del antiguo templo sustituyendola por na de mayor amplitud, con planta en forma de cruz latina con posicion de oriente a poniente, esta integrada por soto coro con bodega de arista, tres ejes, crucero con tambor octagonal y el ábside de forma retangular, toda la bobeda del templo es de lunetos, en el crucero del templo octagonal una cupula interinilla. La sacristia ubicada en epistola es de planta rectangular y bobeda de lunetos.
Este bello inmueble tiene la particularidad de ostentar su estropicio, de mamera "abocinada" es decir, que la portada esta remitida de paño de la fachada presentando una planta de forma poligonal, cóncava y como remate tiene una gran concha obenera, aunada a toda la belleza de sus elementos, conserva vestigios de la policromia que solía aplicarse en algunas portadas coloniales de cantera
La referida portada es de estilo barroco templado, a finales del siglo XVII, consta de dos cuerpo con 13 nicho en calles separadas por columnas a semejanza de las salomónicas, sobre la puerta de acceso o de arco de medio punto, una ventana circular bella de forma abocinada con claros vestigios de policromía
Los muros, las pilastras y arcos de medio punto del interior que sostiene la bóveda así como dos del campanario son estilos clásicos y los dos cuerpos restantes de la torre son barrocos.
En el interior los altares mayor y colaterales de la nave son de estilo neoclásico, antes de 1890 todos los altares eran de madera tallado en acabado con dorados en oro con estilos churriguerescos y barroco.
El altar que está en la planta sur del crucero es de madera con acabados en oro con estilo barroco del siglo XVII, y se cree que era el que presidia el presbiterio.
Como ya se mencionó el padre Alonso continuo en 1707, y la transformación del templo con nueva nave crucero, copular y acide habiéndose concluido los trabajos materiales en 1725, los dos últimos cuerpos de la torre se concluyeron en 1850.
El padre Alonso era de la idea intelectual, fueron los habitantes de Zumpango quienes formaron este recinto los cuales ascendían en un número total de 2000 personas, también con la participación de 500 habitantes de San Juan Zitlaltepec.
En 1890 se modificaron los altares de neoclásico piedra, tabique, acabado en yeso.
En 1941 el piso que era de tarima se cambio por mosaico.
En 2004 se volvió a cambiar el piso por loseta de mármol.

I accidentally found these in a trunk in our attic. Billy picked them up for me last week at an antique store. He got a GREAT deal. I felt so bad when I found them... I shouldn't have told him, but I had this huge grin on my face and he just knew it... So he gave them to me today LOL Yay!!! I've been dying for some turquoise refrigerator dishes!!

With the aim of supporting families fleeing the war in Ukraine, our library has proposed a cooperation between the Nova Hvylja Association and the book’s publisher Móra Publishing House. Together, we published eight stories from Csenge Zalka Virág’s award-winning storybook to provide them to 1,500 Ukrainian refugee families. The collection of folk tales in Ukrainian entitled Ribizli a világ végén [Ribizli at the End of the World], was published in a new Ukrainian edition, with expanded content and renewed illustrations more in line with Ukrainian traditions.
Ukrainian children and their companions took part in the extraordinary book launch upon the courtesy of the association, and the organisers entertained them with fairy tale reading, folk songs and circus performances. Among others, Hungarian actress Nelli Szűcs, Jászai Mari Prize winner, a worthy and distinguished artist of the National Theatre in Budapest, read a story from the book in Ukrainian to the audience.
At the event, Dávid Rózsa, Director General of the NSZL, Liliana Grexa, President of the Association, and Zoltán Fürjes, State Secretariat for Church, Civil Society and Nationality Affairs of the Prime Minister’s Office welcomed the guests. Dávid Rózsa emphasized that the cooperation and support for the good cause came quickly from the participants of the edition. Zoltán Fürjes’ speech focused on fairy tales, ‘the ancient shared tradition that must be rediscovered over and over again’ and ‘which can enchant us and take us out of reality’. The president of the association expressed the hope that the book will remain a lasting memory of Hungary for Ukrainian children.

L’album annovera la collaborazione artistica di Bono, che in seguito alla tragedia avvenuta al Bataclan di Parigi ha scritto con Zucchero il brano “Streets Of Surrender (S.O.S.)”, e la partecipazione alle chitarre di Mark Knopfler, che suona sia nel brano “Streets Of Surrender (S.O.S.)” sia nel brano “Ci si arrende”.
