The preschool children have been learning about trains and different types of transportation. They constructed a train in the classroom that includes three passenger cars, a steering wheel, remote controls and windows. To finish the unit, the children built their own train cars at home and paraded through the lower school. (Photo by Todd Race)

Raksha Bandhan is a day full of faith, respect and love where the brother-sister bond is cherished. Young ones at Mother’s Pride celebrated the traditional values with joy and excitement. Dressed beautifully in colorful attires, little students enjoyed the day well and learnt the glorious culture and heritage. The lovely girls were ready with beautiful Rakhis and the boys were there with cute little presents. The sparkling eyes and joyful hearts brightened the festive aura. The occasion was filled with the scent of sacred love of Raksha Bandhan

The Tues/Thurs Monument Preschool classes had a fun field trip to Canyon View Park where they played on the equipment, walked around the lake, fed the ducks, and caught crawdads. They even got to pet some baby goats. Fun!
i taped down a rainbow of foam sheets in a circle in the rumpus room for use with a variety of activities.
