I know what song they were preforming here. It was a cover of by Aïcha by Cheb Khaled. The crowd loved it and it seemed like everyone needed a video memory.

"Oh, cool a rock with a handle... oh, hi... I wasn't doing anything... hey, by the way, did you know we have a ceiling fan?...."
Usually, I'll make collages square or wide. Decided to do this one "photo-booth style." I might still change it....
Bamberg Germany - Small park along the side of the Liker Regnitzarm River. Young man preforming to the many tourists walking by.
Mark Bulgier commented on one my previous batch of images that it's not necessary to bend the brazing rod into the potato chip shape, and that round rings work just fine. I'm not surprised that he is correct. Thanks Mark.
Me preforming at the Pokémon Theatre!! Although the show wasn't a sell out, the fans were great & loved it!
This theatre was so amazing & hidden secret for years. The origins date back to the late 1800's with the newer & current theatre opening in 1924. I was very lucky to have explored it three times over the last week. Stay tuned because there is so much awesome & hilarity coming from this one! With Freaktography & Carlo Paolozza
Exploring is the mission, not a competition!

Unknown brecciated jasper acquired at an estate sale, several years ago. I'd love to know what it is.
Preforms made the way I make most of them these days (especially brecciated jasper), if I have any doubts about the slab's integrity. I dropped it onto concrete from about a 3-4 feet height.
ID'ed as Sheep Creek plume agate on RTH.
A week, two or three ago, i attended a fire-show and we stayed at Silver-winds for the night.
Two musician brothers preformed a couple beautiful songs for us. Like really beautiful ones. I liked how raw they sounded, the versions of the songs i know were too perfect and with them preforming there was a raw quality that i really appreciate.
On my blog i wrote a piece on hutterite artists. Read here. All You Got!!

September 24, 2011, Fort Worth, Texas - The Texas Christian University Horned Frogs defeated Portland State Vikings 55-13 at Amon G. Carter Stadium.
The TCU Showgirls preform routines in the stands during the game. I tried to put my camera and 8mm lens on the monopod, and hold it up at eye level to them for a really nice fisheye look, but that was a failed venture. To make it look really good, I'd need to put that lens about a foot from one of their faces, and I doubt that would have be received kindly. So, I ended up just holding it as close to them as I could.
Almost all the of second row is levitating :) Oh, and two of them have light posts on their heads. You have to love the geometry and my unconscious (and unwanted) ability to find the only spot in the stadium that makes it look like they are balancing light post on their heads. :)

A Christmas tradition, photographing the Nutcracker dress rehearsal at our local preforming arts center....always a pleasure to shoot.
I have begun working up some freeform cabs from some boytroidal chunks I have collected on Needle Peak, over the last 30 years. Most of these came from one trench I dug in, about half-way up the mountain in some Andesite.
When bees return to the hive, they preform the "Wiggle Dance" to direct the other bees to a food source.
A single beehive can make up to 100 lbs. of honey a year, but a single honeybee will only make 12 ozs. of honey in it's lifetime.
The average honeybee can fly up to 6 miles from the hive at 5 MPH with their wings beating 11,400 times per minute.
In their 6-8 week lifespan, a worker bee will fly the equivalent distance of 1 1/2 times the circumference of the earth.
A single bee can pollinate up to 100 flowers and crops each trip they take to gather pollen.
The hexagons that orm a honeycomb hold the most amount of honey with the smallest amount of material. (wax)
It takes about 556 worker bees to gather 1 pound of honey from about 2 million flowers.
Honeybees are the only insect that produces food consumed by humans.
Honeybees are not born with the ability to make honey, older bees have to teach them how to do it.
One honeybee visits 50-100 flowers during each collection trip.
Preforming a short field takeoff is the C-17 demo aircraft. This one as well is based out of McChord.
In the soft magenta glow of a hydrogen lamp lies the fundamental building block of an optical fibre. This hollow glass preform can be drawn down to create a fibre the width of a human hair. Unlike the optical fibres used in connecting homes to the internet, this fibre can be used to trap a gas within its hollow core.
Gas-filled tubes have a wide variety of uses, most commonly in lighting as with the pictured hydrogen lamp. Miniaturising this into a fibre offers a new flexible alternative whilst maintaining a large active volume. The helical defect encircling the core was a result of a stress caused in the glass during the fabrication process.
As part of the FEMTO Project, this fibre will be used to trap an alkali metal vapour which when optically excited by a laser can be used in the development of an atomic clock.
