While preparing for the next run for the day, the locomotive crew preform a boiler blowdown to get any grime or sediment out of the boiler. Meanwhile, another crewmember unlocks the switch to align Woodstown Central #9 with its train.
Woodstown Central Railroad #9 is a 0-6-0 steam locomotive built by ALCO in 1942 for the U.S. Army. After it's military service and stints on several railroads, it was acquired by SMS Rail Lines and underwent a 14-year restoration. In 2023, it was certified for operation and now in 2024, runs excursions on the Woodstown Central Railroad.

The Spotted Towhee has an impressive amount of vocalization it can preform. With spring that goes up even higher. There have been times when I was trying to find the bird with the strange call and found out it was a Spotted Towhee.

This is the fire dance group Inferno Ash we seen preforming at the Edinburgh Festival. It was the last street show we caught but it was a smoking hot performance (literally) with some great music to set the mood. The two women did different kinds of dance, the blonde girl seen here dancing moved slow and seductively, while the one seen here sitting in the background with the hat on was very acrobatic and fast. I didn't use my flash as I liked the warm tones the flame lit scene had.

A member of the "Dare to Die" corps is preforming an suicide attack during the Chinese stage of WWII, also known as the Second Sino-Japanese War. Suicide attacks among the Chinese were common as just like the Japanese had a sense of martyrdom that has its roots by the Tongmenghui and the Kuomintang party during the Xinhai Revolution, Northern Expedition, and eventually the Second Sino-Japanese War.
The Dare To Die Corps were volunteers who were willing to give up their lives for the sake of retrieving martyrdom. They mostly got better food, were better payed (The money goes to the famillies) and got respect from their fellow comrades.
These suicide squads had a long history that extended beyond the Second Sino-Japanese War. Revolutionaries of the Tongmenghui who died in attempts to overthrow the Qing dynasty were recognized as martyr's by the Republic of China after the Xinhai Revolution.
During the Xinhai Revolution , many Chinese revolutionaries became martyrs in battle. "Dare to Die" student corps were founded, for student revolutionaries wanting to fight against rulling Qing dynasty. Sun Yatsen promoted the Dare to Die corps. During the revolution, suicide squads were formed by Chinese students going into battle, knowing that they would die fighting against overwhelming odds.
"Dare to Die" corps continued to be used in the Chinese military. The Kuomintang used one to put down an insurrection in Canton. Many women joined them in addition to men to achieve martyrdom against China's opponents.
The Kuomintang continued to promote the concept of martyrdom, the souls of Party martyrs who died fighting for the Kuomintang and the revolution and the party founder Dr. Sun Yatsen were sent to heaven according to the Kuomintang party. Chiang Kai-shek believed that these martyrs witnessed events on earth from heaven and he called on them for help.
Coolies against the Communist takeover formed "Dare to Die Corps" to fight for their organizations, with their lives.
During the Tianamen Square Incident of 1989, protesting students also formed "Dare to Die Corps", to risk their lives defending the protest leaders.
The Dare To Die Corps also made an apperance in my brickfilm about the Second Sino-Japanese War, where Chinese soldiers were running under a tank and blew themselves up, despide these actions were more associated with the Japanese as they began to lost the war. The Chinese also preformed these attacks.
This scene did not made it into the final project, because I had to cut it out.

Here is Arriva Buses Wales VDL Pulsar CX58 EXG 2915 is at a bus waiting area at Bangor bus station and this is having problems with starting her up only about a minute starting up as the announcement says "Service Preform Successfully" about 3 times while starting it's engine, but its not in service as it's returning back to depot.

La gaita es un instrumento de viento que, en su forma más simple, consiste en un tubo preformado (puntero), provisto de caña e insertado dentro de un odre, que es la reserva de aire. El aire entra en el odre (fol) a través de un segundo tubo, que tiene una válvula que impide la salida del aire provisto por los pulmones del gaitero. Éste comprime con su brazo el odre para mantener la salida de aire con sonido (tempero).
Hoy en día todas las gaitas han evolucionado desde este tipo simple pero, mientras algunas llegaron a un alto nivel de perfección artística, otras han permanecido en el mismo estado primitivo. El primer avance en la gaita simple fue el agregado de otro tubo que da la nota continua, y esto es ahora una de las características principales de todas las gaitas; se trata del roncón y su número ha sido aumentado hasta seis en algunos casos. El puntero, los roncones y el soplete están ajustados al fol mediante tubos de madera denominados asientos o “buxas” que son las que están atadas al odre. Las buxas actúan además como protección de las lengüetas.
Los primeros odres consistían en una piel completa de animal pequeño, por ejemplo, una cabra u oveja o el estómago de un mucho más grande y estos últimos son usados aún en muchos países. Si consideramos el animal completo, el puntero se coloca en el cuello, en tanto que el roncón y el soplete son colocados en las patas delanteras.
Las gaitas modernas tienen foles de piel de ovejas adobada, cortadas de una manera determinada y luego cosidas, en otros se usa piel sintética o directamente de goma. La mejor piel de oveja es la de Islandia, porque es gruesa, conserva bien el aire y absorbe el aliento condensado. En los de goma esta propiedad no se cumple pero sí lo hace en los de tejidos sintéticos de membrana microporosa de politetrafluoretileno expandido (conocido comercialmente como “gore tex”® , aunque hay otras marcas de similares características en el mercado) . El modo de insuflar aire puede hacerse mediante un soplete o con un fleite (barquín)

Aunque existen posibles referencias literarias en textos latinos, las primeras representaciones europeas se remontan a la Baja Edad Media.
