We were in search of birds and surprised to see a raccoon. It was hunting along Saucony Creek and then took time to preen. Note: The first factory for Saucony athletic shoes was built above Saucony Creek, Kutztown, PA in 1898.

testing out a few new toys this morning on an obliging robin, can never resist these wee beautys:) very pleased with the performace of this lens in overcast conditions and handheld:)

I am not sure of the identification, but I think it is a Black-Throated Green Warbler.

This fellow was very busy.

it was chilly in the hide this morning but it was worth it in the long run

I heard this weird call in the cattalis. It turned out to be a drake Ruddy Duck displaying to two hens. After a number of displays, the drake started preening and bathing. Lakeridge Park, Regina, Saskatchewan, Canada. 5 May 2025
