We were inspired by our trip to Whistler!

Poutine ( puːˈtiːn/; Quebec French pronunciation: [put͡sɪn] ) is a French-Canadian dish of French fries and fresh cheese curds, covered with brown gravy or sauce. Sometimes additional ingredients are added.

 

Poutine is a fast food dish that originated in Quebec and can now be found across Canada and its gaining popularity in other countries too.

Sweet potato fries with gravy and melted cheese. Nuff said.

Made with duck fat fries.

He was happy I was taking his picture. I just love how the photos of the food behind him are still from 1983. It reminds me of the diner in Woolco in Nanaimo back in the day, or some drive-in theatre. You can still find stuff like this all over Montreal.
